Hotels in Kathmandu

I lived here for a month and tried all the local dishes, but the best place I ate was here, home-cooked meals served by the owners. My favorite dish was the buffalo chili momos. The owner loves cooking and makes delicious things with flour. I recommend this place. I would definitely come back.

It's good place to stay in patan with family environment

This place is amazing. Quiet location outside of most of the tourist madness. The staff, food, atmosphere are all wonderful, to say nothing of the history. I spent four nights and would 100% come back next time I'm in Kathmandu.

On top of everything else Rokpa has a movie night every Friday at 6pm and it is served with a seriously delicious platter to snack on! Plus, all the food is good and they have a beautiful garden to chill out in and hang with the resident pup or just read a book on the swing.

Quite a disappointing stay. I was allocated a room which has no light in the toilet, no charging / power outlet, and no hot water throughout. I only stayed here for a night but I won’t do it for any longer. Boss is lucky to have such nice guys working for him at the front desk.

very good location center of tamel but not noisy as it's tucked in. small French crepe Cafe was convenient to use while I was staying for 6night. it's hard to find from Google map. find Samang cafe or lama's thakali kitchen from Google and then get inside ally. really hot water comes out generally good for value. cons; wifi wasn't great in 4th floor

It was great experience to stay here. Location was just awesome, very peace, clean and great view from the balcony. Will visit it again whenever possible. Staffs are very cooperative and it felt like staying at my own home.

Hi everyone I came from london to visit my girl .. Iv stayed in this hotel a month time .. it was very nice .. and very clean and tidy .. quite place too .. It was a very nice place near Patan Durbar square and this hotel was built by the traditional style of Newari Cast. The staff was very helpful and the atmosphere was very nice. I love to visit this place

I stayed in this hotel for two weeks. Everything was close to perfect. Staff were very sweet and helpful. Their food, including the free breakfast, was great and served fast. The rooftop bar has an amazing view of the square. Some reviews mentioned the dogs in the courtyard and called them aggressive. That’s untrue! Me and my gf had a great stay at Pahan Chhen. It cannot be located more central. The newari rooms are kinda small but is still OK for me at 183cm. The rooftop view is amazing and restaurant serves great food.

Gorgeous hotel with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Amazing roof terrace where you can have amazing local food. They serve wine and beer and a variety of cocktails. The view of the Himalayas from the roof is spectacular. Hotel does a decent breakfast too which is included with great coffee. Amazing neighbourhood too. You can get to most of the main sights for 700 rupees in a 15-30 minute taxi...

The location is strategic in Thamel Street. The service was good. The caretaker allowed me to enter the room early because I arrived by bus early in the morning. The bad thing is the towel was not clean.

Located in the Thamel area, surrounded by various shops, it's a lively place. It can be a bit noisy, but that's expected for a central location. It was convenient to be within walking distance of the bus stop for transfers to Pokhara. It was a shame that the shower didn't get hot; it wasn't cold, but it only ever got lukewarm. The room and services were what you'd expect for the price.

The hotel is located a little outside the center of Thamel. The fluorescent lights in the room didn't work, so we had to use only incandescent bulbs. Breakfast is included, but it's not very tasty. The balcony isn't separated from the neighboring rooms, so we couldn't stop hearing each other's voices until late at night.

Really good location and stuff are nice. The breakfast is really tasty. The room is not green and the toilet also
