The experience at this hotel was just okay. The price is affordable and the rooms are decent for a short stay, but nothing really stood out. It’s a good option if you’re simply looking for a budget place to sleep without expecting much more. The staff were polite, and the basic facilities were fine, but overall it was an average stay.

Well! I had a safe stay at the hotel discovery INN, I traveled internationally for the first time being a female solo traveller i was a bit nervous but i had good and safe stay at the hotel. Staff mainly Sri Krishna Bista brother helped me a lot every time i had an issue like hot water is not coming to take shower or i want a hot water to drink. Just a call to him or at reception would do the job...

It is the best hotel for our stay at Thamel.Staffs were friendly and kindness. room are very clean and comfortable. Nothing much complain because it is budget hotel. We use a rooftop for sunshine. Even though it would quite at night . Location is central of Thamel. They have nice garden with small restaurant.

Buddha Garden Buddha Garden, was one of the fancy restaurant in Thamel area. We tried Nepali Thali here, which I didn't find much to my taste. But, the restaurant was cool. It seemed rich people from Nepal must be there attendants. The thing worth noticing here, was one Buddha Statue that they had within the Garden and the fact that they sell cigarettes as well.

Restaurant only: Good service, will pack for take away, food is good but very expensive compared to other local spots (hotel pricing and reason for 4 star) Photo 1: veg corn soup (hot and flavored!) photo 2: Veg pokara (really crunchy and delicious) photo 3: paneer Thali set. Greens and lentils were very very salty but good when mixed with other items (hot sauce/yogurt/rice!)

Nice service. Cool and clam. If you are looking for a quiet solitary moment, this is the place to be. You can spend a great time with your friend and special one. Foods are also delicious. First time I have visited there. Hopefully next time I will go again.

This is moderately okay for stay. Wash room is cramped with toilet and bath in 4X3 feet space. Only a side wall mounted fan is there without ceiling fan. I spent 4 nights in the studio apartment in April 2017: it was really comfortable and well maintained on all three levels,with plenty of cupboards/closets to use. Lovely bathroom by the entrance. This hotel Stupa is just Infront of Baudha Stupa Gate... Very peaceful and away from heavy traffic. I love the service of Pawan Rai, who is all rounder. His service is polite, smooth, always smily and to the point talking. He doesn't know about any political issue of any country.

Nice hotel in Thamel. When I told them I wanted to change room because of noise, the reception changed it for me very quick. Nice and helpful staffs! Thank you! I also join sound healing training at 6th floor. The course are really nice. I had my best sound healing courses here. Highly recommend!

This hotel was everything we needed. Included a small spa credit during our stay. We had two stays in two different rooms. The blackout curtains were nice but one room was very noisy. The staff was so helpful, especially the woman at the front desk. Very friendly and kind. Early check in was nice and was only $19

I appreciated that the bathroom was in the room and the bed was super comfortable. I didnt like that the room was situated in the back, it must be closed to a generator or similar because during the night the noise was continuous and disturbing. Zostel Kathmandu is amazing. Everyone is very cooperative and all the services provided them were perfect. And also the food in their restaurant is super yummy. Overall if you are looking for a budget stay in Kathmandu... this is the best option you can go for.

Not in the league of great hostels like the one at pokhara but decent enough. Soft bed and 24x7 hot water was awesome af. Common room is quite cozy at night. Have lunch at Roadhouse Cafe. Their pizzas are mouth watering and the best in nepal. Just ask for the pizza to be served on ceramic plate rather than aluminium one.

Rooms were clean, wifi wasn't working . They provide place to sleep and food to drivers , in that way it worked out pretty well. There is wiggle room to negotiate the prices. Temple is about 15 min walk with temple premises starting within 3 minutes walking. Good amount of restaurants, and local shops around.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Pashupati Plaza. The location is fantastic — just 1.3 km from the international airport, which makes it very convenient for travelers. It's also only a short 300-meter walk to the iconic Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important landmarks in the area, which adds a special touch to the experience.

I definetly love the place cause i like to get waken up by birds singing , the silence of trees and obviously the greens around . service was fast and reliable . yeah will stay there the next time as well

PVH was such a nice escape from the Kathmandu chaos. The gardens and open spaces are sooo relaxing, and the staff were all super attentive and polite.

The staff there is also incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure you're taken care of. Plus, the food? Delicious! They have so many different options, and everything tastes so fresh. And the pool and spa are just the icing on the cake, perfect for chilling out.

In the heart of Thamel, little oasis in the chaos of Thamel. Cable TV, large comfortable rooms and bed. A total pleasure to stay there. There's bars around that are a little noisy but by midnight it usually stops . They have earplugs if your sensitive to sound. Well worth the money to stay here.

Great to experience the iconic KGH again after many years. It’s such a peaceful retreat after the hustle and bustle of Thamel even though it is in the heart of everything.

Absolutely amazing Bnb! We enjoyed staying here so much. The staff here are amazing! They genuinely are happy, and show so much kindness to their guests. The rooms are very clean and well put together, with ac/heat in every room. There is also an individual hot water heater in every shower so you never run out of hot water. It's quiet at night (this is a critical point in Kathmandu!), the staff are kind, full of hosprtality with beautiful smile, and good English speakers, they call a taxi quickly, good meals at the cafe. My flight was delayed, but they still came to pick me up. I caught the tourist bus early the next morning, so it was only a 5-minute walk away. It was a shame that the hot water in the shower didn't work properly.

Friendliness is an absolute 5 stars!! From check-in, over breakfast and check out the staff was very friendly and polite to us. We stayed 3 times at Apsara (also went to Pokhara and Buthan) and leaving our big suitcase at Apsara was no problem. We felt like staying at our family abroad more than a hotel. Excellent value for money stay and clean. Customer service was very attentive. All the staff were personable. Restaurant food was really good quality with big portions. Booked a tour of the city with shankar bhattarai who was very kind and incredibly knowledgeable. If i had to find fault, a few teabags to go with the coffee sachets in the room would have been nice.

The front desk was extremely bad! A local who knew my name came to the hotel at 2am after drinking too much and told the front desk that he knew me. He called me at 2am when I was sick and just fell asleep and woke me up. He gave the man my room card without asking me for confirmation because I heard him trying to swipe the card to open my door, but luckily I locked it! The man couldn't get in and...

The room space feels a bit cramped, and the boxes can only be placed on the floor. When you go out, you can reach Thamel with many shops, which is super convenient. The service is good and the restaurant is very convenient for ordering and delivery.
