This hotel is a great place to stay as it is central and off the main road. The staff here are without a doubt the best freindliest most helpful bunch of people II have ever met in a hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always cheerful. I am going to see some more of the country soon but I will definitely come back here when I come back to Kathmandu.

We're returning to this place after staying here two years ago. Still just as good. The downstairs rooms can be a bit noisy. We recommend the "luxury" rooms located on the top floor.

The room was comfortable; however, the breakfast experience was not satisfactory. The menu could offer a wider variety of options, and a buffet system would be more convenient than requiring guests to request items from the hotel staff every time.

I liked the hotel. More precisely, the room. The cold was compensated by the air conditioning. There was no hot water. Otherwise, no complaints. But. The room was booked with breakfast. When I checked in, they refused to give it to me. They pointed to the printout, where breakfast was also indicated. But they referred to the low cost. It was offensive and unpleasant.

Hotel was in a very cold and humid location and its rooms were very dark. Bathroom sink's drain was broken, so water was flowing all over the bathroom floor. And there was no facility for Hot water. Kathmandu is a stressful city with a sad underbelly. At the Green Horizon, you're removed from it all and greeted with a cheerful smile every day. I got a lovely room with balcon, big bathroom and booked three days straight away. Also the food in the restaurant is cheap and delicious. Green Horizon is a place to relax. One of my friends stayed here for two nights. The hotel is centrally located with having 3 car parking at the entrance passage. If you want to stay central Thamel, at reasonable cost, this hotel could be one of the best choice. There is a restaurant at the top of the hotel.
