Pahan Chhen - Boutique Hotel in Patan

Gorgeous hotel with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Amazing roof terrace where you can have amazing local food. They serve wine and beer and a variety of cocktails. The view of the Himalayas from the roof is spectacular. Hotel does a decent breakfast too which is included with great coffee. Amazing neighbourhood too. You can get to most of the main sights for 700 rupees in a 15-30 minute taxi ride. Highly recommended!

The most hospitable staff. Delicious food. Beautifully renovated house. Perfect location if you prefer to be in the middle of an ancient history book . We are loving it!

I absolutely love this place! Patan is quieter and more laid back than central KTM, but the place has character and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in on a long time, the AC was welcome as were the bathroom amenities. My favorite part was the rooftop bar/resto. Sunsets were divine , as was the Monmouth platter and chili potatoes. Excellent staff!

Stayed here and the hotel was very nice. The terrace is the best part of the hotel, the view is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant up on the terrace is very delicious, especially the noddles and the vegetable biriyani. The location is on Patan Durbar which makes it easy to find restaurants, cafes, and transport to other parts of the city. I think that this area is perfect for someone visiting for the first time instead of Kathmandu Durbar. The taxis are about 20 minutes to Kathmandu from here and cost around 700 rupees (around 5$). The staff even had a birthday party for me up on the terrace, ordered 2 customized birthday cakes and decorated with balloons.
