Sauna facilities are really good

The price-performance ratio is very high, and finally, a hotel with free parking! The hotel environment is very nice, and the rooms are very spacious. The only downside is that there might not be much nearby, but it's a great place for a vocational school student to rest.

We just got back from a two night stay here. It’s a great location to visit our friends who live locally. Excellent accommodation and facilities, a very comfy room! Lovely breakfast with so much choice and staff were so pleasant. The hotel is only a 10 minute car journey into the centre of Zwolle. A great hotel, we will see you on our next visit.

COMFORT TWIN ROOM - We loved this hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The room was amazing! So clean, well laid out, beautiful decor, comfy big bed, good lighting, great storage, comfy chairs (2 of them, thank you), beautiful bathroom with all you needed and a good size. Highly recommend this hotel and would happily come again, thank you.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, and whilst the stay was comfortable, this was perhaps the least pleasurable stay. The room was nice enough, but the bed was poorly made and the bedside lighting was very dim. I would still recommend this hotel as the best in the area.

I was told to pay extra for breakfast although I have booked this stay with my company travel agent with normally would have included breakfast in the rate. Good value In general thos hotel chain is a good value. Some of them are better than others. The Enschede hotel is older and the restaurant was nearly as nice as others weve stayed in. Service was very good.

Awesome Stay From our entrance to our exit staff was kind, pleasant, very helpful in assisting with travel needs around town. Great amenities (pool, gym, restaurant, bar) for all travelers. All staff made us feel at home away from home.

I have been in 3 Van Der Valk hotels and this one was the best. It is freshly build and everything is the newest standard in quality and comfort. Rainfall shower, dyson hair dryer and a superb boxspring bed. Also very nice staff. Thank you very much

place is ok for business travel

the property is on a two minutes drive from the coty centre of Deventer very reachable and clean!

+ Not too hot in the room with heater on maximum level 5 - Bed moving, annoying during night :( - Even if I expressly asked my room to be cleaned, the bed sheet wasn't changed for 6 days. - No fridge in the room, I understood from the front desk that was due to the standard type of toom - same products as breakfast every morning, but that's understandable + dinner, type of bistro menu, good dishes...

Staff were very nice and helpful, also after my stay (needed an invoice via email). Lots of parking space, and - very important for me - rooms are quiet. Bed and room were clean, bathroom could have been cleaner though.

Booked this as a birthday weekend getaway. Really tranquil location, loved walking in the area even with it being cold outside. The hotel is nicely decorated for Christmans, though would have been nice to also do something for Christmas in the rooms. There was no cleaning service for 6 days. They just changed the towels and trash can.

I booked this room for an academic conference. The room was very clean, and the hotel being located right inside the University of Twente was incredibly convenient. The breakfast was also excellent, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic and welcoming.

Appropriate location for persons visiting the Univ of Twente campus. Layout of the hotel at the entrance not well organised or indicated. Nearly missed two visitors coming to meet us.

Nice hotel, great staff. Being an old hospital, the rooms are a bit of a strange configuration (at least ours was). The hotel is located in the restricted vehicle / pedestrian area of town so transporting luggage is a bit more of a chore. Nice stay overall, and good breakfast.

Location unique and my small room was very good against a good price.

It is an historic building, very authentic, that was very nice. But because of that, it was noisy. The city of Deventer is very nice. There was no restaurant in the hotel-building. Only for breakfast. There was a Fletcher-offer : 3 course diner included, and lower price to stay, but because of the lac of a restaurant, they could not give me the offer, they also did not lower the prise.

Walkable from the hotel! We fell in love with this place especially when it was built in the 1700's and was very easy to walk to city centre from the hotel.

Great place and amazing food - would definitely recommend trying. However, in our taste some of the dishes had way to much acidity and with respect to service it was really good and the staff were nice, but to us there comes a point where it get a bit annoying to continually be asked if it is a great evening etc.

Nice and friendly Very nice hotel with friendly staff located in a lovely neighbourhood. Stairs is steep and short so for those with big luggage, it will be a challenge. Also towels were small but luckily they had a lot. Other than that, very nice place to stay!!

We drive from United Kingdom for a very short visit to Giethoorn. Plenty of free parking places at this place. Very safe and easy access. It's been a while since I came here. Select review. I'm usually lazy and won't take up time to review hotels, but this trip is still commendable. The boss can speak Chinese and prepared a good breakfast and dinner for us. Before we left, he kindly gave us small desserts and coffee. It was very kind. I will come again.

It was a rainy day, but Jan and Katinka went out of their way to make it an unforgettable experience, regardless of the weather. Jan gave us a very interesting tour of the village and the park and not only helped us stay dry, but also made sure we get to warm up at their fireplace when we returned. Thank you!

The hotel is run by a friendly, helpful and energetic host. Lovely location a bit outside of the town but you can rent a boat and have awesome trip. Some rooms have terrace on canal view. Our room was tidy and breakfast was good enough. Do recommend that place.

Hotel du Harmonie is a wonderful peaceful place to stay. It is located in a quite area south of Steenwijk. You can take a 70 bus direct from the train station to the hotel. Rooms are basic but functional and clean. Nice boat rental which we did and bike rental which we did not have time to do. Dinner was also enjoyable. Recommended.

This hotel attracts a lot of attention across many review sites but I just didn’t work out why. It is nice enough but extremely average. They make a great deal about the location and some rooms having exceptional canal views, but even these are underwhelming. The rooms are clean, small, and rather dated. Nice hotel in a good location... 20 min walking to the main area with restaurants and just across the water with the possibility of renting a boat. We have been coming to the Holterhof for years. Now for the first time for a weekend. Because of 1 particular employee, we did not really like it and we would not do this again. It is enjoyable, everything is good, restaurant serves huge portions but delicious dishes prepared with care. Nice location, unfortunately you have to park your car in the parkhouse (10 EUR per 24 hours). Personal is very friendly.
