Hotel Neptunus in Egmond Aan Zee

We arrived very early and were greeted by Frank the manager/owner(?). He was quite friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is good and the rooms very comfortable. I would definitely stay again and recommend it fully.

We had 5 great days at the Hotel Neptunus. Room and bathroom were very clean and tidy. The beds were made every day. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way, about 5 minutes on foot, from the center, but it is quiet there. We will visit the hotel again. Many thanks to the team at Hotel Neptunus.

Friendly welcome. The room was modernly furnished and clean. The only complaints are the loose floor panels and the somewhat outdated chairs on the balcony. You can walk to the beach in just a few minutes. A beautiful dune park is right outside the door. There is ample parking nearby. For a fee of five euros per day you can park well here from the hotel. It is significantly more expensive at the public parking machines. The breakfast is small but nice. I didn't miss anything. Juices and coffee as well as scrambled or fried eggs are brought to the table. Otherwise there are fresh berries and fruits that change every day, e.g. raspberries, strawberries, currants or pineapple. Also a selection of rolls, bread, raisin cones, croissants and sweet pastries. Of course, there are also the typical crumbles and individually wrapped portions of Nutella/butter/jam/honey. Here you could maybe optimize for waste avoidance and sustainability :-). We were guests with our 2.5 year old child and felt comfortable with the child. There were several high chairs and delicious cocoa and strawberry milk. And all this for a comparatively low price. Thanks for the hospitality and see you next time!
