Hotel Crown in Amsterdam

The Eric Vökel Boutique Apartments in Amsterdam provided an excellent impression for our stay in Amsterdam. The spacious apartment was spotlessly clean, with a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, comfy beds, and a stunning riverside view from our balcony. Just a 5-minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station, it’s perfect for easy train access to explore canals, museums, and day trips. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the quiet location offered a peaceful retreat despite the central spot. Highly recommend for families or independent travelers!

Overall, we had a good stay. Amazing location with someone on duty throughout the day. Quality of service differs day to day, depending on who's on duty. Generally friendly and helpful.

Dutch accommodation is usually pricey so I think the price paid for the size of the apartment is reasonable. Toiletries can be easily replenished by visiting the reception downstairs, but no cleaning was provided despite booking for 5 nights and we were told to take our trash down ourselves, so don't expect a serviced apartment / hotel kind of service.

Sound-proofing is lacking, so this is more suitable for families who don't need much privacy among yourselves. Book a hotel with separate rooms as a family if you are a light sleeper. We also happened to encounter stormy nights which resulted in loud noises from the banners hanging down the entire building being thrown about by the strong winds. Could not sleep for one particular night when the weather was extremely bad.

The location is fantastic, very close to the central station, within walking distance.
The front desk staff were also very friendly.
The room was clean and fully equipped.
I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the Netherlands.

Nice cozy place and good size for family of 4. Love the laundry!! Managed to wash 4 days of dirty clothes with dryer function.

Very friendly staff, clean apartment, however, at 500 euros a night, the price/quality ratio is not good at all, but we had no choice, nothing else available in Amsterdam. The apartment's decor is modern. Personally, it's not really my thing, but it did the job well.
Parking is 5 minutes away and costs 45 euros a day, which shouldn't be overlooked either.

The location is convenient, quiet in a busy area, and it takes only 7-8 minutes to walk to Amsterdam Centraal. The busy river view is different from other inland river views, with different views and changes during the day and night. Every staff member is very polite and considerate. The room is simple and very clean, very suitable for families and a few friends to live together, with complete facilities and self-catering. The room is spacious, both rooms have 5-foot double beds, and the split bed can also sleep 2 people. Everything is the same as the photo. I will stay here again next time. It feels like home. The only thing is that if you request cleaning, you will be charged an additional €50 each time, which is not reasonable for a guest who has booked a room for 5 nights.

A bit dated but overall good experience with good view and superb location, 8 mins walk to central station.

It's a bit of a walk from the central station, but the staff are very friendly.
I asked them to leave my bag for me one night before my reservation because I was going to Brussels, and they kindly took care of it for me.
They also gave me some time to prepare when I checked out. I'm also grateful for the scale. I didn't know the name of the man at the reception when I checked out.. He was really friendly. I'm going to recommend him to my friends^^
