Reviews
Environment: The room's interior design is a bit old-fashioned but clean. When I booked the hotel, I saw in the reviews that the rooms came with a coffee machine, but mine didn't. After speaking with the front desk, they explained that my room was a lower category and therefore didn't include one.
Service: The service was acceptable; polite and courteous.
Breakfast: Since my room didn't include breakfast, the front desk informed me that if I booked breakfast upon check-in, it would be 19 Euros per person, but if I decided later, it would be 29 Euros.
Parking: As we had emailed the hotel in advance to inform them we'd be driving, they offered discounted parking. This required pre-booking online and cost 35 Euros per night. However, since we needed to park for 4 nights, we opted for a nearby P+R (Park and Ride) car park (6 Euros per night) and took the subway back to the hotel.
I don’t prefer staying in hotels near the central station, where everywhere is busy and filled with tourists.
I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Amsterdam.
