We had an amazing 1 night stay. Beautiful rooms, very friendly and helpful staff in all areas. We were able to get into the room a little early and they also gave us a late checkout because of my diamond status. The upgraded room with a view was much appreciated also. Breakfast was delicious in a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend this hotel! Thanks to all staff.

What an amazing stay! ! I used one of my complimentary nights from my Hilton Diamond status because I came into Amsterdam a day early and omg I love this hotel! As soon as my cab stopped in front, a man immediately came down the stairs to help me with my bag and escort me to the check in area. They asked if I wanted anything to drink and I said of course champagne! They gave me two!

I checked in with Lisa who was amazing! She had me pick out a scent for my room. What? I didn’t know that existed! Super fun!

My room wasn’t ready because I had booked late even though it was 3pm but I didn’t mind waiting, especially when they gave me that 2nd glass of champagne.

When I got my room, Lisa and Fae escorted me to the room to make sure I liked it and it was beautiful. I loved how the light came into the bathroom. On that note the bathtub was so nice I almost fell asleep in it!
You receive welcome chocolates in the shape of Amsterdam shoes which were so cute and delicious!

I ordered room service as the bar only served snacks and did not want to go to the restaurant by myself as it was really open. I got the Waldorf Astoria Burger which was amazing and so good! I’d go back to this hotel just for that burger itself.

The next day I also had the breakfast and was able to get the whole tray of assortments and all the juices and coffee I wanted PLUS another dish! All complimentary with my Hilton Diamond status. I ordered the French toast and everything was delicious! Obviously I couldn’t eat it all but was able to take some left to the room for later.

I also had a spa appointment while here. Massage was great and the masseuse mentioned to see a physical therapist to help my lower back pain that I was complaining about as she said it was coming from my glutes, legs, knees. I’ve seen a couple of masseuses in the last two years in the states and one in Canada and NONE had ever even mentioned that that could help. I love this! Very professional staff.
The spa also very serene with sauna, jacuzzi, and pool. They have a door to the garden which I’m assuming is beautiful in summer but I was here in February so it was freezing!

When I checked out it was with Lisa again and she was great as usual and the guys helped me with my bags again when my uber came. They let me sit in the other room and said they’d let me know when it was here. Very nice.

I did not want to leave. Haha!

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Parts of it date back to 1660 and it is actually several different houses which have been combined to make one incredible hotel. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the staff is incredibly well trained, and the food is excellent. The hotel is located on the Gentlemen's Canal in one of the best locations in the city--easy walking distance to museums, coffee shops, and great restaurants. If you get a chance I highly recommend the High Tea in Peacock Alley.

This is one of the best hotels I've visited in the world. Superb service, beautifully renovated historical building. Excellent location. They even have several custom room smells that you get to select at check in. The breakfast restaurant is excellent, and they have a two Michelin star restaurant on premises.
The garden in the back is not to be missed. It's a great place to relax. They have automated shutters that prevent rooms from being overheated by the sun in the warm months.
Can't say enough about the great service, from doormen and check in, to concierge and room attendants. Kudos!

My wife and I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam for our five-year anniversary, and the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff was incredibly thoughtful and made us feel celebrated from the moment we arrived. Their attention to detail and genuine warmth set a new standard for hospitality.

Breakfast was very, very good — easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had — with high-quality ingredients and extraordinary service.

We also had dinner at Spectrum, which was our first time dining at a Michelin-star restaurant, and it was truly the best meal we’ve ever had. The dishes were creative and flawless, and the staff at Spectrum made us feel so special throughout the night. Huge kudos to the entire team there for making it such a memorable experience.

Overall, the service at the Waldorf Amsterdam is extraordinary. Every part of our stay felt personalized and meaningful. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a world-class luxury experience. We can’t wait to return.

The room is great, the environment is very good, and the service is also great! ! It is worth staying here! ! The swimming pool and sauna are great! ! The shampoo, shower gel and body lotion are all from Guerlain, and the hair dryer is also from Dyson! ! It's great! !

Obviously, the price is expensive, which is four times higher than that in Shanghai.
It is definitely not comparable to Bulgari and J in Shanghai. Not every room has a bathtub.
So, the lower the expectations, the less disappointment. However, the hotel breakfast is a feature, and you can enjoy the local culture slowly.
