This hotel is very close to Amsterdam Central Station, which makes it super convenient whether you're coming from the airport or heading out to explore various attractions in Amsterdam. It was also a huge plus that they had Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk.

Location was excellent and I liked the view as well. I wish the window wasn’t locked, but I guess it’s for safety reasons.
I didn’t like the shower close to the toilet, basically the whole bathroom floor got wet after I took a shower and it remained wet for the entire time I stayed there. There should be a glass wall or something to separate the shower from the rest of the bathroom.

The staff were friendly and there was free luggage storage to enable you to explore the city for longer. Easy access from the station

Excellent location. It’s very close to the Central station and sightseeing however, the rooms are too small. There is no lift for one side of the hotel. The room service is not great, and we didn’t have any hands soap for three days. Overall, can be considered a modest option having the location in mind.

Disappointed as soon as I got in the room, there is this moldy smell as you get in the room which you somewhat get used to as the hours passed. My sheet and pillow case had stains and hair. The nice staff was able to change it for me. Thank you. The room is small but you only get to stay there anyway at night as you are busy exploring the country in the day. All the staff are polite. There is also a smell of wee as you enter the reception from outside. Sorry but I really smelt it that way. I hope that there is also a decaf coffee. The company should rip offthat old dirty carpets everywhere in the hallways. Will not stay there again.

Terrible lady staff and service. They dontbhave elevator to 2nd floor and we had to do heavy lifting of our luggage. Room is so cramped

Wonderful service from hotel staff and great location. Just 5-min walk from the train and metro station.
However, my room type is a bit weird with a space that connects the window from the room above, It is super disturbing when people turn on the lights which would literally wake me up. There is noise regularly from every 15 mins.

Basic hotel room with basic amenities, not much to say. Location is good though, centrally located and near Amsterdam Centraal station. Lift is working. The hotel also kindly give us vouchers for shops around Amsterdam. Our favourite was the voucher for the Old Amsterdam Cheese store. Low rating for service because the staff at the counter, she isn’t really cheerful and welcoming towards asians somehow…

As always Prins Hendrick is the best place to stop for a beer and some people watching 😉 Good beer, good food and very friendly staff who will remember you from one year to the next! We have also stayed in the hotel ( not this time) and the friendly good service runs the same plus a very excellent breakfast 😘

You get a decent room for a reasonable price at the heart of Amsterdam. The rooms are clean but the interior is a bit used. The staff was very child friendly. The breakfast is simple, but good.
