Jaz in the City Amsterdam in Amsterdam

The room environment was decent, and the cleanliness was excellent. However, the hot water for the shower was unstable, and so was the water pressure.

Had an epic stay! Great location, right next to Bijmare arena as well as Sloterdijk which covers intercity train connections as well as all metros to travel cross Adam. Nice clean rooms, really great breakfast spread and nice restaurant for borrel.

Great place to stay and not to far from the city. Nicely located close to the subway station.

We stayed two nights at Jazz in the City Hotel in Amsterdam. The hotel itself was modern, clean, and comfortable, with all the facilities we needed. Check-in was smooth and the room was great, though we did notice a slight clicking noise from the lights cooling down at night, which was a bit distracting after a long flight.

The location is outside the city centre, near the arena, so it’s best suited for events there rather than sightseeing. It’s a fair walk from the nearest train station and a little tricky to find at first. One tip: the ticket machines at the station only accepted cash, not cards, which made things difficult for us when we first arrived (especially on a Sunday when other da ticket options were closed). Luckily, we’d already bought a 24-hour ticket the day before, which allowed us to travel again and then sort out new tickets later.

Breakfast wasn’t included, so we just grabbed food in town each day. Overall, a solid and comfortable stay if you don’t mind being outside the city centre, and with a bit of planning for tickets it works well as a budget-friendly base for Amsterdam.

Jaz in the City is a modern, cool/hip music-themed hotel next to the Ziggo Dome and 5 mins walk from Bijlma Arena (station, shopping area, stadium). The rooms are well designed, I slept in a comfortable king-size bed, and there is even a sauna on the top (10th) floor! The breakfast is good and there is a great bar where you can also enjoy good quality basic bar food. There are also several good restaurants within walking distance.

I drove there, and Gaode Navigation had a bug that led me to an inaccessible road, so I had to switch to Google Maps. The hotel parking is extremely expensive; I arrived in the evening and left the next morning, paying 36 euros for parking right under the hotel. I'm not sure if it's convenient to walk there. I had dinner at the hotel, and the soup and salad might not be palatable to Chinese tastes.

It is exactly like the photos, big clean amazing room. Iron was missing which they kindly provided upon request. Only slight issue was the light was quite low in the room made my wife feel silly while doing her makeup. Staff was very friendly.

Room is very nice and the staff are friendly. The location is a bit far from the city center but there is a station nearby and just 15 minutes by metro.

Very satisfied, and the transportation is convenient! Communication was smooth, and the service was good. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the city center by subway, and a 5-10 minute walk to the subway station. Overall, I'm happy.
