The room was not that dirty, but there were stains on all 6 beds, pillowcases, sheets, and duvets, the toilets were too small, the showers were clean and okay, access was only by stairs, the heating was minimal, and in general, the experience was not very pleasant.

It was abnormally small, we were sitting with our feet in each other's faces. The blankets and pillows were a dirty yellow and looked like a prison cell, only worse. You have a shared toilet and shower. I wanted to poop, and when I opened the door, a naked guy was taking a dump. I wanted to use the other toilet, and there was a pole showering and singing. Would I recommend it? No, but for the experience, it was a GREAT, TOP NIGHT.

The staff was nice, however the walls were very thin so you could hear everything. But we got what we paid for.

This hotel is budget friendly. You get what you paid for. The rooms are small and you get to share bathrooms and showers with other guests.
Keep in mind that there is not elevator and the stairs are very steep.
Also, if you are lucky the guest next to your room will be quiet at night.
Even though there are signs posted about not smoking.
The guest next to our room where being loud at midnight and smoking **** with the windows open.
We had the windows open since there is not AC. All the **** smoke went inside.
I reported to the hotel the next day.
Still the guests the following night were loud and smoking.
We stayed for 6 nights and the bedsheets were never changed and we had the same towels.
I am saying this for future clients to be aware before booking.
It was nice that we could leave our luggage after check out.

Very bad service from part of the receptionists that answer whit arrogance and doesn't know how to work properly,crazy people screaming inside the room and homeless whit problem of alcool and smelly inside the room... I m very unsatisfied

Not so clean and the guy at the reception was rude. The room is quite small but good value for money. The hostel is well located.

Young women do not stay here!! It’s cheap yes but don’t go me ans my friend 20 and 21 stayed here and it was very uncomfortable we were on the top floor in a private room/attic and there was a man sitting on the stairs outside of our room all night and one night we came back and there was a different man passed out on the stairs up to the room not the communal stairs the only stairs that brings you to 501/502 there was no one in 502 our entire stay the bathrooms are terrible you can’t even move in it they’re dirty people don’t clean up after themselves and the town it’s in is dodgy at night also we got followed in the town and at the muidpoort station also not a very well lit area either also stairs are a nightmare it’s 100% vertical some staff are a bit creepy too but beds were actually pretty cosy but the fear of leaving the room was extreme and got up during the night to check the door was locked

The bed is comfortable, the Wi-Fi is pretty spotty, there's no electrical outlet nearby (there are practically only two in the entire room), and the bathroom is shared with the entire apartment. There may have been a bathroom in the room, but the damaged door didn't allow it to be opened. The lockers don't have much space to store a suitcase.

I booked Amigo as it was just outside the city and I wanted some rest without city noise. The hostel was a stop away from centraal and a short 5 minute walk from the station and had some nice restaurants next to it. Unfortunately, there were no plugs next to or near my bed, so i had to sit in reception to charge my devices for a couple of hours. I had some disrespectful travelers in my room so I never got much sleep at all for the 2 nights. But that's not the hostels fault. I resorted to headphones and music to help me sleep. The stairs are really steep up to the hostel, I noticed most are like this.. Beware of vertigo. There was an en suite toilet with shower and a separate toilet just outside the room if it was occupied. There was a cheap kebab shop next door which I tried and it was very good.

Adequate or above average quality for the price, good location, clean. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom (with three other rooms), then they were nice enough to upgrade us to an en suite, which was even better.
