Not super modern but works well with small kitchenette, light rail to downtown Auckland across the road and lots of restaurants walking distance

Parking was good, off street, management were great, lovely and clean, had everyting we needed.
Could walk to and from function, lots of eating places nearby as well as the train if you need it.
Would recommend staying there.

Great to have free onsite parking and really good location to get to places. Also having train stop just across road to get to cbd was great
Room was really nice and clean and surprisingly quiet. I will stay here again!

Amazing place. Beautiful interiors. Fantastic staff. The food was good, one of the best Arabian (Turkish/Lebanese) style food I have had in Auckland.

Great place for a drink and a light snack but the mains we had were pretty poor. Had to send the Southern Fried Chicken burger back. The chicken was a thin scnitzrl type patty ( not southern fried chicken) and was so dried out it had curled up at sofes and was onedoble. Loved the Potato boats and the house made Ciabatta with garlic butter. Sadly service wasn't great either. Waiter had only been there few days and didn't know menu or what things were. Would go back for drinks and snacks but mot a full meal. Shame as is a great venue.

They have all you can eat BBQ Spare Ribs on Thursdays, and their BBQ Spare Ribs are to die for.

I'm a big fan of the kingslander. We come to the pub quiz every week, watch rugby and other sports here, and have been to many events at the nectar lounge upstairs. The food is great, beers are cold... can't complain

Every Friday apparently they bring in the top rated local talent, and glad they did bc they brought the jazz infused Bad Apples to the stage. Some other good acts too. Most tap choices are only Monteith's. Got some basic whiskey/Irish whiskey bottles for decent price. Couches and other seating available.

These guys know how to do a good pizza! I got a prosciutto and mushroom which had a nice crisp crust with a decent amount of toppings. Heard nothing but good things from my friends there, especially the recommendations for the friends with dietary restrictions (vegan and dairy free)

Atmosphere: 5/5
We were seated in the outdoor area which is reminiscent of the gardens in Italy with olive trees and sculptures. Also nicely cozy with the heaters all round.

Service: 4/5
All the waiters were friendly, helpful and attentive. We had a couple people with dietary restrictions (vegan and dairy free) and were both given great alternatives. The only reason why I'm giving a 4/5 is because my arancini was forgotten, but they quickly brought one out when reminded.

I am in love with this place and the staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Got lot of suggestions and liked them equally. Great place on a summer afternoon or evening to have a beer with friends. Live wood fired pizzas and arancini balls are my pick.

Beautiful old styled Italian restaurant, good staff, adequate variety including vegetarian and gluten free options. One can choose to sit in open or 1st floor with better view.

Ordered takeaways to be delivered. Firstly incorrect order delivered. Then told us to now come and collect as no one could deliver. When my daughter arrived to pick up the food they complained about me to my daughter! Food wasn't cooked so had to wait 15 minutes. As she waited they continuously 'bagged me' and 3 other people complained about their food. The food was under average and we didn't eat it.
Don't recommend at all. Use to be nice 5 years ago ... whats happened? get rid of the front person which would be a start!!

Sat outside which was nicely decorated and warm. Plus no drama like the last reviewer. Good size meals and classic Italian but slow to come to the table so don't go if you're in a rush. Cool area upstairs that would be good to rent for a party.
