The location was ideal, and parking was readily available. The staff provided excellent service. However, the elevator service to my room was inefficient, requiring extended wait times and repeated button presses to reach the ground floor. The lobby's ambiance was unremarkable and did not align with typical hotel aesthetics. The room and restroom sizes were notably compact, especially considering the price point. Competitors offer superior modern furnishings at comparable or lower rates.

The Ibis Ellerslie is in a good location with easy access into the CBD via Greenlane Station less than a 5 minute walk. The accommodation is average and felt a bit weird having it connected to the Novotel (same entrance, check in/out, restaurant, bar etc). Rooms are small but OK for a 2 night stay.

Stayed 5night.One of the best service we have received yet.a special thanks to team housekeeping to make our anniversary so special. They made special decoration for us which was very surprising when we entered to the room,day to day cleaning was impressive. Great and friendly service from team F&B.front office was awesome ,special thanks to guy(sorry ,forgot name) at night who was helping a lot for car park. Food was awasome..overall very caring & great service from the hotel,strongly recommended and definitely see u again.

This hotel is pretty affordable and packs excellent service and provisions for the price. We loved the staff, breakfast was included and absolutely delicious. Our room was very small but very comfortable and clean. We would stay at IBis again!

The room was dark even daytime with all lights on.
Got an accessible room though not requested. After shower, bathroom floor stayed wet.
Great gym.
Good breakfast. Better if a little change in hot food selection. They were exactly the same for 2 days.

Great experience, clean and new toilets, and everything was very new. Quick check in and friendly staff. Nice for a quick stay as my house was undergoing renovation but perfect for travellers too.

The hotel I booked to be close to my friend's home is not in the city, far from the scenic spot, and inconvenient for public transportation. However, there is usually only one hotel in Auckland. The parking lot is large, but it is full at night and the space is tight.
Service: There will be a waiter knocking on the door violently in the early morning, and when I open the door, I will tell you that I knocked on the wrong door, which is a bit inexplicable. The lady at the front desk is very easy to talk to. Because of personal arrangements, I hope to postpone the check-out for 2 hours and she also agreed happily!
Hygiene: The overall hygiene is not bad. Although the room is close to the main road, the sound insulation effect is OK.
Facilities: The room is very small, and it is a bit difficult to open two boxes for two people in the room. The surroundings are relatively deserted, and there are no restaurants.
Overall, it is OK, and the price-performance ratio is average.

Just having breakfast at this place. The chicken filo was cold and moist. It had just a few pieces of chicken in the centre with cranberry sauce anf s few slices of avocada. The rest almist 80% was filled with cream. Gave feedback to the chinese looking guy in front desk who rudely said ' thats the way we make our filo'. Very poor customer service and attitude.

Coffee was good and that's about where the positives of the place ends. They were late turning up to open & the cafe itself was a mess. We ordered 2 eggs benedicts which were supposed to come with spinach but instead came with mesculin (gross!!) and the eggs were overcooked & cold. Thankfully we had used a Groupon because the meals were no where near worthwhile enough for the price they normally charge.
