Auckland, 71 Mayoral Drive, Cnr Vincent Street (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Located on the periphery of the main CBD area of Auckland, Grand Millennium Auckland was very comfortable, pleasant and very well priced for what you get. The room we stayed in seemed recently renovated and was large, well lit and contemporarily styled with nice modern mood lighting.
The one bonus was having secured parking available for a reasonable daily fee of NZD25 with multiple entry and exit...
Nice hotel, great location, good value for money
Absolutely amazing place! The room was cosy, the bathroom was pristine, nothing not to like! We enjoyed our stay immensely
Found a fingernail in my breakfast. The location is good, though.
Arranging a car park when we didn’t know the registration number proved to be difficult, the rep told us it was first come, first gets a park and that reserving a park was not possible. After some discussion the rep was able to sort of reserve a park, then told us 20% of the available parked were already reserved. I question the veracity of her first comment or whether certain guests are “favoured...
Hotel with a central location. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Check-in was not informative at all. The staff seem to know very little about the meaning of hospitality, especially at the reception and in the restaurant. The restaurant staff at breakfast were poorly qualified or interns, and the supervision made no effort to help.
There was a concierge, but they were never available when needed...

City view room but the room was facing a wall so I guess that counts as city? Carparks is a bit of a walk and quite expensive.
Location is right on the top of the hill so walking to town is easy but going back to your hotel makes you want to just change to another hotel instead.
Painting work was in progress without notice!! My husband’s shoes caught some paint and asked for some thinner. The request was received by reception but no follow up was done. Disappointed!!!
Hotel does not provide parking. The nearest or under the hotel is wilson parking, which the a hassle to top up the parking charges. No choice, pay for valet
Great hotel, the ambiance was good. We had breakfast included, not much vegetarian options, but the bread, fruits and alternate for cereals was available. We had a great stay. Only paid valet parking provided by the hotel.
The location of the hotel is amazing, in city centre.
Friendly Staff. Clean room and comfy everything were good except two things the room light low but not bad. And booking confirmation there is jacuzzi inside the bathroom but there wasn’t
Gym, pool, steam and Jacuzzi so much fan and have good change room with lock. The staff on spa was super friendly
The breakfast buffet was delicious
Really enjoyed will be book again
It’s okay. On the hill top, next to the Auckland University. Nice walks to the city and downtown. Bookable and stayable.

If it wasn't for the location, I'm not sure I'd feel the place was worth the money. There's nothing wrong with the hotel, but they charge a premium due to being attached to the Sky Tower. Amenities are nice but some of the furniture seemed worn. There was a bit of upselling at check-in for a harbour view. If you need a decent place to stay and you feel the allure of the Tower, go for it. If you're...
Superb, so much choice for food, excellent pool and sauna. Comfy big room.
Facilities: Pretty good
Environment: Quite convenient, there are places to eat nearby.
Service: Normal, nothing to complain about, nothing exceptional.
Looked like a nice room on the top floor, a bit worn out. Door Minibar was hanging and scratches the wooden floor, but the rest was oké. Except one big problem during the night: mice or rats where running through the walls / on the ceiling. I couldn’t sleep because of it. Wouldn’t book again.
Wow... what a place and what a position. Really opulent feel to the hotel and a very memorable visit
Great for business travel and leisure. Clean, well maintained and well equipped room with comfortable bed.Good location in the CBD city. The staff are friendly and helpful making the stay a very pleasant one.

Overall, it was nice and very convenient when you have a late night flight at Auckland Airport. The shuttle bus service was perfect. But we could hear the sound from next room all night long.
As we were arriving late into Auckland with kids and knowing we were picking up our car from the airport in the morning, we knew we needed to stay somewhere close and we were glad we chose the Holiday Inn Auckland Airport, knowing what we would expect from a Holiday Inn. There was a 24-hour airport bus (Yellow Bus) that stops at the Holiday Inn so that was added bonus. Check-in was quick and easy and...
This really exceeded my expectations! I happened to catch their dinner buffet, and the food was delicious.
The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the airport. The room facilities are a bit dated, but everything is clean and hygienic. It has a garden and a small swimming pool, and parking is convenient and free.
The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and offers a shuttle bus service. The dining options are great for Chinese travelers. I'll definitely stay here again next time. The service attitude is truly excellent, and I'll be back in the future. The environment is also beautiful.
Conveniently located near the airport, with the #38 bus providing direct access. It's a garden-style hotel with a swimming pool. The best choice for an early morning flight to Queenstown. The breakfast offers more variety compared to other star-rated hotels in Auckland and includes fruit options.

I stayed from January 14th to January 20th this year, a total of six nights. The hotel's location is quite good, close to the port and shopping areas, very convenient! However, regarding the hotel itself, I was assigned to the fourth floor. At night, I could hear some noises from the surroundings of the hotel, and the sound insulation was just so-so. Most importantly, on the last day of my six-night...
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Right outside, you'll find the best shopping street, Drottninggatan. It's also super convenient for taking a ferry from the nearby harbor, and there's a bus stop and subway station just around the corner. The front desk staff were really friendly, and they even offer luggage storage after check-out. The room was a bit small and the breakfast was just okay...
“Ocean View” was terrible had a view of another building, not the ocean. Paid to upgrade to the junior suite, which was pretty basic and nothing special. Great location, but average hotel. If you pay for an “Ocean View” prepare to be disappointed.
Great location and extremely comfortable bed. Size is spacious for 1 person. Would be just nice for 2
Excellent location. Facilities feel a bit old.

I recently stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel Auckland and wanted to extend a special thank you to the amazing team, especially Moira and Christian Jose.
During my stay, the elevators were undergoing maintenance, which could easily have made things inconvenient for guests. Instead, Moira went above and beyond to look after myself and many other guests. She was constantly checking in, offering assistance...

The hotel's design is innovative and the facilities are modern. The valet parking was convenient. The only thing I think needs improvement is the placement of the chandelier above the small round table in the room; I bumped my head twice and it really hurt.
repeated business travel booking.
Fantastic location, room selection ze and amenities. Lucky to have conneting rooms for our family. Great restaurant and in room services. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great service always ready to help. Highly recommend and will return again.
Great location and always very classy
As two girls traveling together, we feel very safe here. The staff are friendly and attentive. Issues are solved quickly. There’s even a robot that sends item to the room. We can get free water bottles and borrow umbrellas.

Clean room with excellent staff. Wonderful location in the centre of town and a few yards from the beach.
The pool was small but nice and surrounded by well maintained garden, although there were no sun beds. The laundry facilities were very limited and the inroom TV had little choice other than some local channels.
Would we stay again - Yes
We stayed for 2 nights and the staff was so accomadating for our time of arrival. The room was private and clean, equipped with all the amenities and so relaxing. The beach is literall just there down the road. Overall it was a great place to stay. Thanks!
This beautiful little hotel, tucked away in beautifully landscaped grounds, close to a lovely beach town, not far from downtown Auckland, is a gem.
With the beach, water and lots of restaurants nearby, definitely a place I’d love to stay at more than one night.
The pool clean and gorgeous, a refrigerator and dishes, guest laundry room, parking on site, all wonderful.
The warm welcome at the reception...
Staff excellent. Only negative would be the patio from the room was overgrown. Couldn’t sit out at all. Otherwise. Room great. Nice and clean.
Room was spotless. Late arrival was no problem. Excellent service.
Great location, short walk to beach and town.
Highly recommend.
Great place to stay at! Close to the Bay Area and beach. We saw kiters riding. Hopefully we will try next time too! The place is easy to find and we loved the area even more than Auckland. The place is clean and cozy. Very convenient to check in and out

We had the most helpful lady at breakfast time, she was brilliant and so polite.
Staff has been incredibly helpful with a minor problem the room had after check in. They found a solution in one second and they upgraded me to a bigger room for the inconvenience. Airport shuttle works great
Like the locality to the airport, car parking and the food.
it all depends what you need, I found this place to me nice, clean and has everything one need for a transit or a quick airport stays. The best part is it has free transfers with good coffee ofcourse
Was here just a few weeks ago and it was epic. Turns out the staff remembered me this time too… they both approached me when I went to the restaurant for dinner, this time with my lovely wife as last time I was travelling alone, and welcomed me back. Nice people and even nicer place to stay. If you are ever in Auckland Nz and need an airport hotel this is the place. Booked to come back next time before...

A great place to stay with late arrivals or early departures. Comfy bed, good amenities and good coffee in the lobby. Buses are handy to the airport. Thanks
The location is excellent — within walking distance of the domestic terminal and very close to shops and places to eat. I took the yellow bus to the international terminal, which cost NZD 6 one way and was very convenient.
Free coffee is available in the room as well as in the shared area downstairs, which was a nice bonus. The room is small but has enough space for luggage.
Overall, a great choice...
Walk to Airport. KFC MacDonald, grocery shopping all within walking distance
Pretty close to the airport, but not that close. I wish for a walking guide so that we did not have to take the expensive, but slow bus from the airport. The room is fine, reminding me of those in Japan--very small but functional. But the front desk needs more people to check people in more quickly. The laundry room needs cleaning. People are leaving their laundry in the washing machine overnight which...
It's a 15 - 20mins walk from the airport, lucky it wasn't rainy or too sunny. But you can take a yellow bus for N$6/8. There's a kids area to play, free flow coffee/hot chocolate at the lobby too.
The hotel is around 1 Km from Auckland International Airport. The surrounding is quiet with restaurants nearby.

Cheap overnight parking, just paid approx $6 to park overnight.
Excellent airport hotel—ideal for an overnight stay. Comfortable beds, great showers, and a genuinely helpful, friendly team. Check-in was quick and efficient. Breakfast was the highlight and exceeded expectations. Very good value.
Conveniently located as the first airport stop on the Yellow Hotel Transfer bus route. Walkable to the Apex car rental facility, or approximately NZ$10 by Uber.

Good overall... Deep and nice pool, cold though. Nice breakfast, Great views and the bed was fantastic. Something to get better, the smells of the rooms were not the best after check in, and the reception staff not very welcoming.
Location was nice if you hae a car. Really close to a big and nice mall. I love to run around the lake
beautiful surroundings, spacious and sunny room!
Furnishings rather outdated and amenities minimal. There were minor issues here and there but resolved in good time. Breakfast was good!
Good location, close to Sylvia Park with good food option around the area. Accessible walk around Panmure Basin. Plenty of parking so no stress if you return late.

This stay was a terrible experience for three reasons. First, the sheets weren't changed. I checked in at 4:30 PM and found the sheets were still on, with obvious signs of use and shed hair and dander. Neither of the double beds had their sheets changed. The hotel is quite nice, located near the port with plenty of restaurants nearby. I'll book the Park Hyatt in a couple of days to compare.
Except for the wooden screen next to the balcony, which is noisy when there is wind and needs maintenance, everything else is perfect.
Came in late at night but well received and quickly got my needed rest
I don't like it. The room I was given is on the second floor facing the street and facing the office building. I can only draw the curtains. The air conditioner seems to be broken. The experience is not good.
The hotel lobby is nice, but the rooms are old. The air conditioner was broken when I stayed there a few days ago. Although the hotel provided a hair dryer and a vertical air conditioner, the noise was too loud and affected my rest! I don't recommend staying there at the moment

Fable Auckland gets a lot right. The rooms are genuinely lovely: bright, modern, and a very decent size by city-hotel standards. It feels considered rather than cramped, and there’s a calm, stylish vibe once you’re inside.
That calm, however, depends entirely on which way your room faces. If you’re on Queen Street, prepare to be woken by either enthusiastic late-night revellers or the street cleaner...

Good hotel, room and bathroom modern and clean. My room was facing the road and I woke up with the noise at 6:00
Everything was great, but room service was not good, tried to order dinner for room service no one answered the phone, so had to order takeaway and delivery by Uber eats.
My daughter and I had a gorgeous stay at Rose Park Hotel. We loved our room with balcony overlooking the Rose Gardens, enjoyed room service and easy access free parking! This place is a little gem!! Our 4th time staying here. Family with young children.
The rooms are always clean and functional with tea/coffee and toiletries etc.
Although parts of the hotel appear run down in some areas…(just paint work etc, they really aren’t where it matters!! It also gives the hotel its character.
Strong showers, great beds and pillows, spacious rooms. Very clean.
Pool is always...
Nice size rooms. Plenty of tea and coffee but was hot and couldn’t get the cooling fan to work. Found a big white tail spider in the bed. Staff were very friendly.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Great food. Would definitely stay again.
The stay was short, but the reception was good and the room spacious. The aircon was dated, as was the bathroom, hence the four stars. Other than that, no complaints.
The hotel is older and quirky but the rooms are comfortable and clean. Unfortunately the people in the room before us smoked in the room, selfish!! So it reeked but that’s not the fault of the hotel and they were very apologetic. Couldn’t change rooms because everywhere was booked (Metallica!!) but with the help of a little fan thing and leaving the door open we got rid of the smell eventually.
