Hotel with a central location. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Check-in was not informative at all. The staff seem to know very little about the meaning of hospitality, especially at the reception and in the restaurant. City view room but the room was facing a wall so I guess that counts as city? Carparks is a bit of a walk and quite expensive. Location is right on the top of the hill so walking to town is easy but going back to your hotel makes you want to just change to another hotel instead.

Painting work was in progress without notice!! My husband’s shoes caught some paint and asked for some thinner. The request was received by reception but no follow up was done. Disappointed!!!

Hotel does not provide parking. The nearest or under the hotel is wilson parking, which the a hassle to top up the parking charges. No choice, pay for valet

If it wasn't for the location, I'm not sure I'd feel the place was worth the money. There's nothing wrong with the hotel, but they charge a premium due to being attached to the Sky Tower. Looked like a nice room on the top floor, a bit worn out. Door Minibar was hanging and scratches the wooden floor, but the rest was oké. Except one big problem during the night: mice or rats where running through the walls / on the ceiling. I couldn’t sleep because of it. Wouldn’t book again.

This really exceeded my expectations! I happened to catch their dinner buffet, and the food was delicious.

The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the airport. The room facilities are a bit dated, but everything is clean and hygienic. It has a garden and a small swimming pool, and parking is convenient and free.

The hotel's design is innovative and the facilities are modern. The valet parking was convenient. The only thing I think needs improvement is the placement of the chandelier above the small round table in the room; I bumped my head twice and it really hurt.

Clean room with excellent staff. Wonderful location in the centre of town and a few yards from the beach. The pool was small but nice and surrounded by well maintained garden, although there were no sun beds. The laundry facilities were very limited and the inroom TV had little choice other than some local channels. Would we stay again - Yes

This beautiful little hotel, tucked away in beautifully landscaped grounds, close to a lovely beach town, not far from downtown Auckland, is a gem. With the beach, water and lots of restaurants nearby, definitely a place I’d love to stay at more than one night. We had the most helpful lady at breakfast time, she was brilliant and so polite.

Was here just a few weeks ago and it was epic. Turns out the staff remembered me this time too… they both approached me when I went to the restaurant for dinner, this time with my lovely wife as last time I was travelling alone, and welcomed me back. The location is excellent — within walking distance of the domestic terminal and very close to shops and places to eat. I took the yellow bus to the international terminal, which cost NZD 6 one way and was very convenient. It's a 15 - 20mins walk from the airport, lucky it wasn't rainy or too sunny. But you can take a yellow bus for N$6/8. There's a kids area to play, free flow coffee/hot chocolate at the lobby too.

The hotel is around 1 Km from Auckland International Airport. The surrounding is quiet with restaurants nearby. Inside the room, everything is neat and tidy. Bathroom and toilet is together. The drainage is not so good otherwise perfect.

This stay was a terrible experience for three reasons. First, the sheets weren't changed. I checked in at 4:30 PM and found the sheets were still on, with obvious signs of use and shed hair and dander. Neither of the double beds had their sheets changed. I don't like it. The room I was given is on the second floor facing the street and facing the office building. I can only draw the curtains. The air conditioner seems to be broken. The experience is not good.

The hotel lobby is nice, but the rooms are old. The air conditioner was broken when I stayed there a few days ago. Although the hotel provided a hair dryer and a vertical air conditioner, the noise was too loud and affected my rest! I don't recommend staying there at the moment

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to a shopping street, train station, and port, offering easy access to the airport and ferry. The Sky Tower is also nearby. While the hotel facilities are a bit dated, they upgraded me to a very spacious room. The breakfast was traditional English, delicious, and plentiful. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.

Fable Auckland gets a lot right. The rooms are genuinely lovely: bright, modern, and a very decent size by city-hotel standards. Everything was great, but room service was not good, tried to order dinner for room service no one answered the phone, so had to order takeaway and delivery by Uber eats.

My daughter and I had a gorgeous stay at Rose Park Hotel. We loved our room with balcony overlooking the Rose Gardens, enjoyed room service and easy access free parking! Fabulous location close to Newmarket, Parnell and the CBD. Had the weather been warmer we would have enjoyed the pool too. We recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Convenient location. Reasonable price  No hair dryer. No air conditioning so had to sleep with the windows open but it was very loud downtown - not something the hotel can control.

The location was great, short walk to the harbour, shops all around, the staff was friendly, could leave bags before check in, small kitchenette included for basic meal prep. Bathroom is small and not for everyone but we made do for the two nights we were there. Can’t complain for the price and location.

Centrally located in an uphill location. A bit of challenge if you have problem walking uphill. But overall a good place to sleep and take a quick shower in the center area on a budget.

The Ibis Ellerslie is in a good location with easy access into the CBD via Greenlane Station less than a 5 minute walk. The accommodation is average and felt a bit weird having it connected to the Novotel (same entrance, check in/out, restaurant, bar etc). Rooms are small but OK for a 2 night stay.
