Overall, it was nice and very convenient when you have a late night flight at Auckland Airport. The shuttle bus service was perfect. But we could hear the sound from next room all night long.

As we were arriving late into Auckland with kids and knowing we were picking up our car from the airport in the morning, we knew we needed to stay somewhere close and we were glad we chose the Holiday Inn Auckland Airport, knowing what we would expect from a Holiday Inn. There was a 24-hour airport bus (Yellow Bus) that stops at the Holiday Inn so that was added bonus. Check-in was quick and easy and the room was comfortable and practical. The only drawback was there was no lift, so we had to carry our luggage up one flight of stairs (the hotel only had 2 levels) but it was not a deal breaker (request the ground level rooms if needed). Breakfast was good and what you expect from a Holiday Inn. There was on-site parking and all in all have no hesitation to stay there again.

The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the airport. The room facilities are a bit dated, but everything is clean and hygienic. It has a garden and a small swimming pool, and parking is convenient and free.

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and offers a shuttle bus service. The dining options are great for Chinese travelers. I'll definitely stay here again next time. The service attitude is truly excellent, and I'll be back in the future. The environment is also beautiful.

Conveniently located near the airport, with the #38 bus providing direct access. It's a garden-style hotel with a swimming pool. The best choice for an early morning flight to Queenstown. The breakfast offers more variety compared to other star-rated hotels in Auckland and includes fruit options.

We had extra high expectations of the brand and so we have to admit that it’s not exactly amazing. It is good for nearby stays to the airport. The shuttle bus costs $8/pax one way and is convenient as it is 24 hours. There is no lift so if you have heavy luggage, you might need help. There are porters but we didn’t use this service. All in all, it checks all the boxes but somehow does not amaze. The food was particularly disappointing but only because we ordered 2 portions of the fish and chips - it was chewy! 😂 The burger was good, however. The beds were comfy; the a/c works but although we had it at 16C, it felt like 24C.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around, and there are restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I slept very well at night. The front desk staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. The common areas were well-maintained and clean, giving a general sense of safety and security. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Avoid!
the hotel is dated and in need of a refurbishment! The carpets in the dinning room and corridors were filthy stained and put you off your food!
The food was mediocre at best poor vegetarian options and nothing vegan.
Room was clean only saving grace or I would have moved out immediately!
Food trays were left in corridors all the time we were there

i have been asked to have dining with my ice hockey mates twice i have been declined. reason restaurant is closed.there were at least 50 people were dining at the restaurant. this establishment poorly managed. not enough stuff on duty..not sure about the food though i did not get the chance to try.

This place use to have really good food over a year ago. Was always my go to, mainly for pizzas & kebabs but now it just tastes yuck! Had the pizza yesterday & gave me food poisoning & not tye first time. Salads are all soggy soft flimly, not even crunchy. Seems lije they like using left overs alot. Same goes with the chicken

Probably the only kebab around. Chips are excellent. Kebabs are pretty average, maybe 7/10, while kebab on rice are pretty good, 8/10. Could be a bit slow, but would recommend.

While travelling on business, my wife and I wanted to get a pizza. Pizza is "our thing". This place was the nearest that wasn't one of those dreadful chains.
It was handy. It was open.
Wondered how it got the A rating from Auckland Council, but I guess I have been in worse places.
The promise of the wood-fired pizza oven was lost on the pre-fab pizza base, which was undercooked just a bit. The limited (and somewhat dubious) menu selection was no real surprise. The pizza topping was generous, and the price was good. Very limited drinks cabinet.
The chips were good.

Great Indian meal in Kirkbride Road near airport hotels. We ate here because of the good reviews and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. This family restaurant has been here for 21 years and the mother/ grandmother cooks wonderful meals. We had spinach chicken sagwahl and madras lamb. The poppadums -cooked in the tandoori and the light naan bread were delicious.
We will return whenever we stay near the airport.

Worst indian I have EVER had (this includes my own home cooked indian - and I am no chef!).

I love raw garlic and have been known to eat it from a teaspoon, however, the amount of raw garlic on the garlic naan was unbearable and the sight of it lumped inside almost made me sick! Also, the butter chicken was to sweet to be eaten ..it was almost like it had a jar of honey poured into it. We didn't even eat the tandoori chicken...

It was enormously disappointing .. especially because it took nearly an 1.5hours to arrive.
