The hotel's design is innovative and the facilities are modern. The valet parking was convenient. The only thing I think needs improvement is the placement of the chandelier above the small round table in the room; I bumped my head twice and it really hurt.

Fantastic location, room selection ze and amenities. Lucky to have conneting rooms for our family. Great restaurant and in room services. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great service always ready to help. Highly recommend and will return again.

As two girls traveling together, we feel very safe here. The staff are friendly and attentive. Issues are solved quickly. There’s even a robot that sends item to the room. We can get free water bottles and borrow umbrellas.

We arranged for seven couples to stay at the hotel to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We chose to dine at the hotel on two of the three nights. The entire group of staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay a very memorable one. We have stayed there previously and will continue to do so. As per usual we could not fault anything.

Went on a pre Xmas Wednesday afternoon. Slow service, understaffed, expensive drinks and didn't seem to know how to make cocktails. Some decent craft beers though.

Food and service here was supburb, this was our first 'by Chance' lunch spot when we visited Auckland and truly a brilliant welcome on the harbour. My burger was bigger than my head and flavour to match. My partners poke bowl was average, with slightly undercooked noodles, however was a perfect portion size and well presented. I was confused as I had picked an outdoor table, around the side of the building, so as I may smoke and not disturb others, however when I went to light up I was informed that I may only smoke at a Barrell table right between the main entrance and front door. I felt uncomfortable doing this as it would surely blow inside.

I was afraid I would leave New Zealand without tasting a lamb dish worth the reputation of the New Zealand lamb that is popular all over the world. Finally I got to taste exactly that, the evening before my departure I went to Degree at the Auckland wharf and ordered their stone-grilled lamb loin.
Quite innovative that they served me the lamb raw on a hot surface, letting me grill it exactly how I wanted it.
It was simple and delicious, I was impressed.

The waiters were fantastic, the food was delicious, and the prices were fairly reasonable for what you were getting. Euro is a high class, high taste experience.

Great food and beautiful views, amazing service with attentive staff. Most of all for us was the fact that it's baby friendly, especially for a fine dining restaurant.

Mixed feeling about last nights experience. Food was served promptly but then we had to remind staff about giving us a dessert menu and where our subsequent drinks were. Language (therefore understanding requests) was a barrier for 1 Asian staff member in particular. Stunning view though and generally have always had great food & service here so will still be back again for sure.

Probably the worst breakfast experience in Auckland, I say probably because clearly I haven't tried them all, lets say the worst breakfast I've had in Auckland. Where to start, the mushrooms were tasteless under-cooked, the rosti's were so crispy and over cooked there was no potato left in them, the bacon's average as was the rest of the buffet to be fair. I'm not a complainer and reasonably easy to please, eat out often and happy to leave positive reviews someone needs to take hold of this place and do something quickly, the rooms beautiful, the maitre'd was friendly, the rest of the staff didn't come anywhere near to ask how things were going ask if we wanted proper coffees, just slack and lazy, I wont be going back and suggest no one else will be soon if this level of food quality and service continues.

Great views, food was interesting (big plate, small portion of culinary experimental digestables) classy atmosphere, went there for dinner because of grabone deal. Looking for buffet breakfast deal now.
