The hotel is brand new with excellent location. The executive rooms have an amazing view. Also, the room has plenty of USB ports to charge your stuff.

However, car parking is a hassle. You need to call the reception to open the gate if they answer the phone!

New hotel in Christchurch with old name, Crowne Plaza Hotel is back in Chch after the earthquake in 2011. Th place is modern with lovely coffee shop 1851, bar Social and restaurant and bar Marketplace, it has 200+ rooms modern rooms. Plus good confidence rooms and good size ball room. Crowne Plaza hotel is build on the place of the first hotel in Christchurch 1851 Golden Fleece.

Nice hotel good location. We were able to Uber in and away from the hotel. The only low point was checking in where they asked a bunch of questions. It seemed to be almost interrogation Style. Where did you come from? Where are you going? How long have you been in New Zealand? This is all before they handed us the keys almost as if it were an interrogation and if we failed we could not stay there although we are highly paid professionals.

Great to have an IHG hotel in Christchurch again and this one is well appointed. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the desk area provides good power access. The WiFi was mostly okay - more an issue with the still rebuilding Christchurch than the hotel specifically I think.

Spacious room and conveniently located in city centre. Friendly staff. On site parking is limited but the meter parking is free of charge from 6pm till 9am.

This hotel was great! Even though I had to book it last minute on Trip.com in the middle of the night due to an unexpected situation, the staff warmly welcomed me upon arrival, which was a nice touch.

Great location and spacious rooms, but don't expect much in terms of service. You're pretty much on your own, and there's no airport shuttle.

A perfect place to stay if you are travelling for business. Comfortable beds, great lighting, plenty of plug outlets, easy valet parking, walking distance to everything you need. Only thing I could fault is that the restaurant isn't open for lunch but there are plenty of other options so that's not even a valid fault. Love the balcony room. Amazing customer service, they really make you feel like you're important.

Great hotel, central location and easy walking distance to attractions, bars and restaurants. Room was very clean with a comfortable bed and bathroom with lovely toiletries. We ate in the hotel restaurant on one evening of our three day stay and the food was excellent. Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again.

We all loved our stay. Friendly staff. Great rooms, clean and well appointed. Close to everything in the city center. Tram is right out side the door. Restaurants near by are great. But, their own Chef is really good too. We ate there three nights and could not fault our meals. Tours pick you up from the front door. Parking underneath. Or, if you need to park outside in a Wilson's carpark because of height or size. It is only 25.00 a day. We will be back next year. Thank you Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch.

Stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful hotel back in 2018. I must say that the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful indeed. The room where we stayed had nice views of the mountainside. Within walking distance, there were a number of local attractions to explore. Valley parking available at very reasonable cost. Overall l, it was a very pleasant stay. 5 star for their hospitality!

Excellent views from upper floors. My room was clean and beautifully laid out. A comfortable bed meant a good nights sleep. A well stocked fridge, plenty of tea ad coffee. Also a good menu on offer for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Lovely, friendly staff.
