Very close to the Octagon. Basic breakfast but it was free. Had to go outside to get to the bathrooms which was a bit strange. Overall value for money

Booking cancelled before stay. Due to erroneous card details with ***********. We corrected this, and contacted the accommodation directly requesting they contact us directly if there issues. They chose to cancell without getting in contact 5hrs later. We contacted the accommodation directly they were confrontational and would not accept any responsibility. Poor performance, I would not recommend at all.

Good location in the middle of the city, bed was comfy enough, but lacks curtains, overall clean and good to meet people.

I stayed in a private bedroom with ensuite - clean, modern, away from the communal kitchen and showers, so it was quiet. Having the pool tables (free to backpackers, 1/2 price on Fri/Sat) downstairs - fun to play a few games there with people I met in the backpackers' kitchen.
I'll be going back to On Top next time I'm in Dunners!

Very cosy. Bed too soft and my neck feels uncomfortable.

It was pretty terrible. I checked out at 9 o'clock and wanted to go back to the kitchen to make breakfast, but the receptionist said, "Sorry, you have already checked out, so you have to leave here. I'll give you 10 minutes." At that time, I had just finished cooking the vegetables in the pot. Then I had to throw away all the vegetables, clean up my kitchen utensils and wash the dishes.
Moreover, this hostel has no elevator, which is very unfriendly to travelers with luggage. You have to drag your luggage up very high floors.
Also, their luggage storage is keyed 🔑locked. Every time you go to get something, you have to ask the receptionist for the key, and he must follow you. The tone of the slogans posted everywhere in this hostel is also quite demanding. In short, I don't feel that guests are treated as guests.

When I checked out, there was no one there. When I came back after 11 o'clock, I was fined 20 dollars for being late to check out. It was unreasonable. The bed was shaking and I was scared. It was still cold at 5 o'clock and it was so dazzling that I couldn't sleep.

Good for watching sport. Sometimes standing room only. Awesome terrace setup in a separate room with the big screen. (Hence the name of the bar)

Great meal - delicious stone grilled food and a pint of beer makes for a happy night. Highly recommend!

Absolutely disgusting and appalling experience here.
Was gifted a $40 voucher for Christmas... hoping for a nice Saturday brunch, but the staff refused to honour it because we didn't have the receipt for the voucher!!! Staff were incredibly rude. I'd stay well away, and keep the money in your own pocket before you decide to dine here. Awful customer service
