Hotels with pool in Norway

We visited during the winter month (November) so most of the attractions / activities were closed until May but the views were spectacular and they do get a lot of snow there! Overall a lovely stay with a lovely host in an incredibly well presented room with the best views

We didn’t realise that one of the mountain roads were closed during the winter season (google maps showed it was open) so ended up calling the host who gave us directions using an alternative route which was very helpful

We arrived and were given some good history on the area and tips and pointers of where to visit during our stay. The rooms were incredibly clean and included all the amenities you can think of

The hotel was a bit far from town, but the spectacular view of the fjord made up for it! Our host, Ian, was amazing and went above and beyond to help us have an incredible stay!

It reached -7°C in the night but the rooms warmed up quickly and we had lovely thick duvets. Great night sleep and woke up to one of the most amazing views I’ve ever seen

Ian has been hosting for a while and has a cute travel book where previous guests leave notes of appreciation (including those from Brazil, Israel and Singapore!)

I only tested the food at the restaurant: Oh my! The sauce was absolutely fantastic!, the portion was not too big and the service and the smile of the people working there were out of the ordinary, exceptionally good

The rooms were just right and the cleanliness was second to none. Has become our new favourite hotel in Southern Norway and would definitely recommend Vertikalen Hotel to everyone

What a fantastic hotel that met all our needs. The manager is exceptional and extremely service minded. The food was 10 out of 10, both breakfast and dinner

The premises were also neat, clean and pretty. I wonder if this will become my new favorite place to stop by for a bite to eat 🤟💪🏽

Great stop over on our way to Stavanger . The room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent! Definitely recommend!

Best place to stay in Svalbard. Comfortable room, smart common showers and toilets in the hallway. Good breakfast.

Good and but the location is so far If u don't wanna walk just take taxi in town Spend around HKD 150 then u can save 40 min walking

I was on the top bunk, which meant I had to use a power bank to charge my phone. The shared kitchen area had a fantastic vibe, and I really enjoyed chatting and socializing with other guests there

It could get quite challenging if all guests had large suitcases, so I'd recommend bringing a backpack instead, as you can also use the lockers provided

For transportation in Svalbard, you can take a bus or taxi between the airport and the city center. Conveniently, a bus stop is right next to the hotel

Although it's a bit outside the main town, the prices are reasonable, and the breakfast is delicious, so I'd definitely recommend it

Nice and quiet place to stay with friends and family. Recommend staying here if you are looking for a cozy place to stay. It has got that Nordic rustic feel. Easy payment and no hassel. Very affordable than the hotels.

Tollgaarden Gjestegaard is located near Larvik harbor and Larvik station. If you’re taking the train the accommodation is approximately a 6 minute walk from the station. The farmhouses they rent are small yet cozy

The apartments are animal friendly, so we were able to have our dog along and there were plenty of good walking trails close by. It is also close to the city center with multiple restaurants near by

Apartment was clean and thoughtfully appointed for any needs A short walk to a beautiful park on the bay is a must. Owners take pride in providing a charming establishment for visitors

The apartment fits up to 4 people and is in close proximity to a beach, which is great for summer

5 minutes from ferry, nice and quiet place, free parking, very nice Host.

The hotel is super clean and smells great. The two beautiful ladies at the counter are really cool. I’ll say, if I come back to Tromsø, I will only stay at this place!

Cosy little room with just the facilities I need, and a good view from the entrance. Kitchen was well equipped with kettle, coffee machine and utensils if you will like to prepare your own meals and drinks as well

The complimentary cookies, coffee, and tea were a nice touch and really made a difference. Oliver at reception was especially helpful and provided plenty of useful information. I would definitely recommend staying here

A great place to stay, though the uphill walk to the building can be a bit challenging. The property is clean, even with shared toilets and showers. I appreciated the shared kitchen and the free laundry

Conveniently located near the waterfront. Friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. Perfect for a short stay in Tromsø.

Very good choice if you have limited budget. Breakfast and towel are included.

Clean bed linen and towel provided. Breakfast provided was decent. The location is fair, about 20 minutes by tram then a 10 minutes walk from the city center.

Although it's a bit far from the city center, the price is very affordable. They have a shared kitchen and offer free breakfast. You can easily get to the city center from nearby bus stops or train stations

Easy to get to by public transport. Facilities are good, and wholesome breakfast available. Comfortable bed with facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful

The room is clean and bright. Showering area is comfortable for you to have a nice shower. A localised hair drier is provided.

I like this place where I can cook. I eat a lot and eating in restaurants in Norway is too expensive. Supermarkets are nearby so buying foods is convenient. Room has a dish washer but I don’t know how to use

Near a lake and near train station. Bed is next to the heater and curtains are on the heater. Not sure if it will burn so I put curtains on the wall. They only provide a hand washing liquid bottle in the bathroom

Room is quite small and some part are a bit dirty but that's to be expected for the price. On one hand they've got a kitchen with everything which is great, but they don't give toiletries which is a big downside

Fire Alarm rang multiple times without any reason, imposter tried to enter the building. All the guests rushed out of the room. Two days later Police arrested a criminal at 10:00 PM from the room next to ours

Location is good and service was very very good. Any problem I had, just have to give a quick call to the hotel. They'll take care of your requests

It was very scary but the room was nice. A very popular pub is on the ground floor of the hotel, so a little noisy on the weekends

This is the best youth hostel in this place, especially the breakfast is very good. If you want to live in a youth hostel, this is the first choice

The hotel staff were also very nice. The only inconvenience for me was that the hotel doesn't have an elevator, and I had two large suitcases to carry

Very nice hotel with buffet breakfast. The room is clean and design is nice. With bath tube. Space available to store luggage. Walkable to Svinøya with Stunning view.

Overall, a 10/10 experience! There are several free parking lots nearby, and the hotel provides a complimentary breakfast which was quite good in taste and quality – definitely recommended

The room was great, spacious and clean, and breakfast was included. The only downside was that there's no elevator, so I had to carry my luggage up to the second floor.

Nice 1bedroom (4 beds) apartments with fridge freezer, electric hob/oven, basic cookware etc. Food available from restaurant until late with delicious pizza and more. Quiet place with free parking outside

10-15 minutes walking distance to the nearest shoping centre

This was quite noticeable when I used the bathroom. I even got a mini fridge! The room was quite clean. The hotel is within walking distance to several attractions and the train station

I did not use the shared kitchen or washing room. Rommet jeg fikk var ganske slitt. Dette var spesielt tydelig på badet. Fikk til og med et minikjøleskap! Rommet var ganske rent

The room was ok, nice and spacious. It’s a good place when you are on a budget as you are in the city center, the room is comfortable and you have a kitchen if you wanna cook

They were friendly, helpful and expedient. Room was well kept and showed minimal signs of wear and tear. Bed was comfortable to sleep in, wifi was serviceable

As constructive feedback, the common spaces can use an update and it would be great if the hotel can provide some basics to cook as salt, pepper and oil

Best fishing hotel For many years my family and I have been returning to Saltstraumen Brygge for fishing. Perfect location and fantastic and competent staff who help to give you the best fishing experience.

Perfectly situated in the Saltstraumen area. Great and large apartment, very eell equipped. It’s very new, large freezer for the fishermen, boat tental, sauna. Short distance to the grocery shop

Staff is friendly. House is in good condition. Will come back.

Oh, these are such atmospheric little houses. We got there on a rainy day, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Everything inside is cozy, despite the single beds. The breakfasts were beyond expectations

The room is clean and warm, the bed upstairs can sleep four people, the breakfast is rich, and the waffles are a must. Parking is easy. The common areas are spacious and the hot tub at night is nice.

The cottage and view were excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, the check-in process was a letdown, as we arrived late and the key collection instructions were incorrect

The hotel was very cozy and huge. Loved the shower! The breakfast was delicious as well. Would definitely recommend and also find a chance to come back and stay here during winter!

Nice service at check in and check out. If you want to use sauna, please book it in advance. It was almost fully booked when we checked in, only left with night time hour.

A guesthouse with true soul! A very nice stay at a very beautiful and "hidden" place. Beautiful.

Really nice place in a good location

The guesthouse is located a short walk from the railway station and also less than 10 mins walk from the centre of town. The guesthouse comprises apartments and units in traditional buildings in a courtyard setting

There was also a full sized balcony which was a sun trap, we spent a lot of time sitting there in the warm sunshine. The apartment was very comfortable and ideal for our short stay

I Lived here for 6 Months through work contract this place has its pros and cons rooms are small as is one negative but other then that it was nice and convenient with a kitchen and bathroom in it another negatives was the single bed falling out of it a lot but overall a positive experience!!

You have to check in down the street. It’s more of a place for workers to stay but there’s a nice fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook. There’s a washing machine and the rooms are very simple

There is a smell coming from the bathroom (either fishy or peey) and a humming sound which might be disturbing or soothing depending on your ear condition. No problems with traffic or train sound

I would like to complain, but since the price is so cheap I really can't. It was clean and the beds were okay. Some pillows are okay others are too old and thin

The size of the lavatory is adequate for someone of normal stature

I've never experience such good service in Norway before! It really felt like coming home. Rana the hotel manager made sure that we had everything we wanted and gave us the best possible stay here in Sarpsborg

The breakfast was excellent with fresh food, egg/bacon/sausages, fresh fruit, yoghurt, warm bread, fresh Waffles, bakery cakes and so on

We can only recommend this hotel, perfect location close to the train station and the city center

We arrived a few minutes late for breakfast the next morning, despite given information both in the booking and in the text the night before, but were allowed to come in and have breakfast anyway, and were even cooked up some fresh waffles

Although not all the rooms are super modern, they are clean, large, with comfortable beds and with large windows. There is also a nice restaurant in the hotel. The staff is friendly and the owner is very kind and helpful

The breakfast was above expected, with many choices. The staff was very nice and professional, and so overbearing with us even though we arrived late, called after hours, and arrived late for breakfast

Very pleasant restaurant close to the small maina. Toilets and showers for sailors available there. The staff is nice and helpful. Very good food and drinks. You must drop in when staying in Henningsvaer.

Very well equipped and modern apartment we had here. It was clean, with very good photos on wall. Location is wonderful, also informative books about the region at your disposal. Stable internet.

Great restaurant in Henningsvaer, was able to sit by the water. Had the Smoked Whale, thought to try something new. It's really awesome still people speak English to guest traveling abroad

Cozy quaint space on the water Pros: Nice location right on the water. Cons: Door on bathroom sticks badly. Exit sign in hallway was too bright (shines right into bedroom)

Just got here, but wow! Beautiful, and the staff are very nice. Fridge stocked with breakfast items too.

Full of character in an out of the way place. Glad we booked 2 rooms for the 3 of us as the bunk in the double room nearly touched the ceiling and was claustrophobic. Friendly staff and perfectly good food

Located in residential area, silent and peaceful environment. Equipped with cooking equipment like microwave oven, induction heater and kettle. It takes 15 mins to walk to National Theatre Station

Lovely big room comfortable beds, hot shower, and walking distance to downtown. But if you don’t want to walk the 31 bus from National Theatre stops 20m away.

The overall feeling is quite comfortable, you can make some simple meals, and there are also large supermarkets nearby for convenience

Highly recommend great place to stay. Great location, cute kitchenette, clean spacious. Ask someone how to control the heat and air

Trust me we couldn't figure it out and froze so ask when you have a person in front of you don't wait until it's too late
