I had great experience spending few nights here. The rooms were so clean and comfortable and quiet. The shower and other facilities were clean as well
Located 15 minutes walking distance from central train station. I stayed for 1 night in a female dorm: big lockers, metal bunk beds, great bathrooms facilities, towel is included in the linen they provide
Great location, accessible from the main train station (about 10-15 minute walk), and easy walking distance to the harbour and other attractions
They also provide luggage storage for free until your checkin time arrives. They have breakfast in the morning
Basic but spacious and clean room with a good shower, heated floor (!), and nice view over the rooftops
Able to access an electronic key prior to arrival, which was very reassuring as we arrived late
Was very pleasant stay! We could see a part of aurora from our room windows! And the bed was so soft, we had a very good rest! And the restaurant breakfast/dinner was amazing!!!
The package I booked included airport transfers which was very convenient (and quick, only around 10 minute drive) and they were so helpful and flexible when my flight was cancelled and I ended up coming in very late
Small room but perfect as I was solo. Very clean! I got a deluxe room which I would say you’d need for 2 people. Hotel staff were lovely and friendly. Good breakfast included with nice food
Aeventyr is based out of there which made it super convenient to pack in lots of adventures: snowshoeing, dog sledding, whale watching rib boat and snowmobiling. Plus the Northern Lights Cathedral is right there
A perfect spot for activities in Alta, nicely located in the town centre, in direct vicinity of the Nortjern Lights Cathedral. Nice and cozy rooms, can be a bit noisy at weekends.
The restaurant isn’t open every day so make sure to go when it is- great food. The bar is open every day and they had nice wines and the great Nord Lys pilsner on tap
One of the rooms has a kitchenette. The small supermarket Rema 1000 is just downstairs, which is very convenient. The public areas of the hotel provide free coffee, hot water, chocolate, and microwaves, which is great
A very nice little no frills hotel. Was visiting some friends in town for New Years and just needed a room to crash before driving home the next day
This hotel is perfect for what I needed which was just a room in the center of town
Facilities: There was only one working outlet, the door was a bit heavy and slammed loudly, and the room lighting was a bit dated. Cleanliness: Very good and clean, including the shared restroom
Environment: Very nice, with a beautiful street view
There are kitchen utensils and plates at the front desk that can be used when cooking. The only bad thing is that the bath water is unstable, hot and cold, and the bathing space is small
Top choice for Andenes
Very good service, excellent breakfast
Good hotel, great breakfast. All the necessary was there
Nice rooms, friendly personnel and great breakfast.
The staff were very helpful and service oriented, and the rooms were clean and had cosy interior. I stayed in the older part of the hotel, so my experience could differ for those staying in the newly renovated rooms
Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a small gym, but it has everything you need. Breakfast included is great, free coffee in the lobby area and a nice sitting / hang out area in the lobby as well
They did offer some pizza for dinner if you could not find a table at the restaurant next door, but overall it has the feel of a Howard Johnson in the US

This place is a great older hotel off the beaten path. The staff is 5 stars. The views from the lounge/dining area are spectacular. Hike up the old ski trail for even better views. Dinner and breakfast were amazing.
The familiar room was very clean and spacious. The dinner was simple but enough, the breakfast could be a little more various
Highly recommended
Great service, went above and beyond on a number of occasions, food decent!
It was a pleasure to be there
Basic accommodation set in amazing grounds with excellent sports facilities. Staff were really good, food was cheap with plenty of it and free parking
Was over from England working nearby, slept great as not a sound after 22:00
Artur showed us the best hiking trails and even gave us a brief tour. It was like having our own private local guide. He went well beyond the 'call of duty' to make sure we were comfortable
Friendly staff, rooms have all the essentials, breakfast was great as there was plenty of choice, eggs are prepared freshly. The city centre or restaurant area is only a 15 min walk
This is a hotel that deserves full marks in every aspect. The front desk staff is warm and friendly, and the hotel even prepares tea and coffee for every guest in the lobby
The hotel also offers various burgers for dinner if you don’t like to go out for dinner down town
The morning breakfast was a feast to behold. The choices (both hot and cold food) were too great to be listed here. Would definitely stay here again

And they have a lovely cafe /bar area calles “butikken” except it isn’t a shop anymore. It is well worth trying out the pool. Just remember that a day card for pool only works for that day
All around great
Fantastic location, very nice staff. Greatly enjoyed the pool and sauna on a rainy day. Looking forward to returning here some time.
My only negative notes are that the spa/pool (across the street and open to the public) had limited hours, and the breakfast buffet - while satisfactory - was a bit of a let-down compared to what the rest of the facility offered
The hotel declares as it has pool, but appearantely it doesn’t belong to the same company. They are charging extra for that
However the travel from Molde area with ferry ( check route times in advance) and island hopping in to Ålesund or opposite is well worth a trip. The restaurant offers a great 3 course dinner too
Lovely stay at Finnøy
Lovely hotel on the island of Finnøy. We had great weather, but I expect weather can be a bit harsh since it is basically next to the Atlantic Ocean
The space is very cozy, especially with rooms that overlook the mountains outside. The shower has powerful water pressure and maintains the perfect temperature. The breakfast is delicious and the environment is also cozy
Driving from Tromso to Lofoten, this hotel is a great place to stop and rest after a long drive. Good breakfast if compare to the price and the view is a bonus. We have got everything we need, great value for money
The room is also very big, but the hot water is not hot enough and the bath water is lukewarm and cool. So you have to take a bath early, otherwise you have to wash it the next morning
The room was given to us on the first floor for convenience of carrying our luggage. The nearby sea view is very beautiful but very clear
There is a beautiful large lake with no light interference, which is convenient for watching the aurora.
Very nice and great of landscape around the hotel. Hotel quite old and magically bring us to the past.
I’ve been at this hotel for a week and everything’s been fine. I switched to this room for one night and I love it, kettle, coffee machine like usual, and best of all, a fridge
Nice room, subpar experience
Nice room in good area. When we arrived we were puzzled by there being a towel on the toilet. We later realised that this towel was ment for the sink (which was leaking)
I just wish there was a plug next to the bed to charge my phone more easily
One of the best things was that we could always enjoy hot drinks in the kitchen area, available all the time. There were also cakes and waffles always ready, which was a lovely touch
Let me tell you, I got super lucky! This was an incredibly amazing experience. It's really close to all the attractions and the meeting point train station. The main bus station is right next door, which is fantastic
Breakfast is provided (though the quality is just so-so), and soap, shampoo, towels, and a hairdryer are provided! At the breakfast area, you can enjoy tea, coffee, and snacks in the afternoon, and even have waffles in the evening
We were able to relax in the restaurant and have tea, which was a very thoughtful service from the hotel, and we really appreciate it. The airport shuttle stop is also conveniently close, about 200 meters away
Honestly, this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in
The standout feature is definitely the location—it’s centrally situated, and almost all major tour departures are within a 5-minute walk (less than 500m), which was a lifesaver in the Arctic cold! The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming from the moment we arrived
Great location within all good food and bars such as 3 lions pub, ferry boat access Twain access and the heart of all the attractions and city.
The location was at the exact centre of the city, with a 5-minute walk to Trondheim sentrum station. Brilliant service with complimentary breakfast. Tommy, who was at the desk, was superb, friendly, and so helpful
breakfast was included and was excellent. close to cruise ship terminal, train station and express bus to airport was across the street
I had a great time at the hotel being a business traveller. Recommend it to all travellers
We loved the location near public transport and historic sites to visit in an easily walkable town center. The room, however was hot and stuffy with windows closed and cooler but very noisy with windows open.
Great location . Super friendly helpful reception . Lighting was a bit poor the only negative aspect . Free make your own waffles after 1700 . Lots of tea / coffee stations . They want you to be comfortable
Smooth self check in , well equipped cabin with everything you need, great location walking distance to viewpoint for the lonely-planet cover photo
We had amazing trip with aurora view. You can see dancing aurora at your accommodation.
Big area, nice location, we even watch northern light in terrance!
We enjoyed our stay here 😁
Friendly reception.
The house is so warm and the view is so amazing 🤩
Absolutely loved this hotel! The room was super warm, the location is unbeatable, and the front desk staff were so welcoming. I even saw some amazing Northern Lights! My room was right by the water, which was perfect
It was a wonderful stay and everything was very pleasant.

Above and beyond!
Alt var mer enn perfekt! En aldeles nydelig frokost, en betjening som gjorde sitt ytterste og fantastiske omgivelser. Et must når du skal overnatte på Røros
Excellent personalized service from door to door. Coffee and story telling in the evening was special. Thank you!
This is a lovely hotel with a wonderful staff and in an excellent location. It is easy walking distance from the train station and right off the main shopping and restaurants
A first class Hotel with very friendly host. the timber wall building was from 1860, with cozy interior and a huge open fire place ' Peis' in the dining room
still the buildings are top modern with all facilities and each room has its own history. I want to return to this place winter time
Truly one of my best stay experiences—Norwegian charm, clean, quiet, and a helpful manager
First of all: incredibly good and understanding staff. Story time:
We had a bad night in the tent when the weather turned absolutely miserable, we slept maybe 4 hours in total out in the tent
We needed to wash clothes and the washer and dryer were free to use! Very nice addition! The ground are really pretty to view as well as walk around. It has a great playground for kids
Our guests felt well taken care of, and the whole experience was unforgettable. A huge thank you to Anne Lene and her team for their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail
We had an absolutely fantastic wedding weekend at Hunderfossen. The planning was seamless, the service outstanding, and the entire team made sure everything ran smoothly
They found a good solution even though we arrived earlier than they expected and did all they could and found a very good room for us so we could finaly rest
I explained to the staff that it would have been very helpful if we could just sleep and rest in before the booking time

On the second night, I moved to a one-bedroom suite complete with a living room and kitchen. **Facilities:** The room for my first night was on the ground floor, which was convenient
Not easy to accommodate yourself on these parts of the town this place is always booked because occupy nice location inside beautiful historical building rooms very nice decorate the place has restaurant and bar rest on the site that serves cocktails on the downstairs at reception you have facility area and utility shop with Norwegian crafts and hand knitted jumpers and hats good selection of souvenir
The place is very cozy and nice. Probably one of the best spots in Svolvaer in Summer to spend an evening with friends or just chill. A mention to the staff, always available and smiling, even with funny jokes 😁.
However, my room for the second night was on the third floor with no elevator, making it quite a struggle with large luggage. The upside was a balcony with a fantastic view!
I extended my stay by one night. **Room:** For the first night, I was in a duplex room where the upstairs and downstairs shared a living room and kitchen
Almost in the city center. Easy to walk to pier. Great breakfast and servive from friendly staffs.
Room is cosy, but it is a bit too dark in my opinion.
Just a 10-minute walk from the city center is this very nice and comfortable hotel. We received a free upgrade upon arrival, which we greatly appreciated!
The views towards Tromsø were beautiful.
Beautiful place to stay. Especially not allowing pets, which is hard to find, because of my allergy. Clean, quiet, safe.
Will definitely stay there again when I’m in the city
Room was pretty small but clean. Room service is every two days but they exchange towels every day. Location in Tromsø is pretty good. Parking will cost you 250 NOK per day, so calculate with that as well

Very beautiful room and check in was easy, definitely recommend!
The highlight of the hotel was definitely the two whirlpools overlooking the fjord, complete with a rain cover for all weather
There is possibly no better location than this. Every room faces the fjord. Balcony’s allow you to relax and watch the sun disappear behind the mountains and the Gerainger lights twinkle on. Service was immaculate too!
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options
Fantastic views from a hotel one mile from the madness that is Geiranger when the cruise ships arrive. The manager and his partner were gracious and accommodating, the hot tub felt great after a long day
Full bar, lovely restaurant, and the manage will take you into town as requested. Or, rent an electric Porsche and explore
Really enjoyed our stay, room on 6th floor with great views of fjord. Room and bathroom although on the small side was functional. Dyson fan/heater helps keeps temperature in the room comfortable
I stayed 2 nights in this resort. Each house had its own backyard. There was a warm swimming pool in the middle of the small apartments. There was another swimming pool in front of the sea line
Really great place! If you can ignore the prices, then hiring a boat to explore the islands and do some fishing is really worth it! Reception staff are really friendly and extremely helpfull! Actually, never met friendlier people, including the locals who invited us for drinks! No certificates are needed for the boats as they give you full instructions, maps etc
We had an amazing day at sea because of the great help we got at tregde ferie center!
Caught lots of fish and he even let us lend his own knife for fileting the fish!!!
Highly recommend it to anybody looking for a great day of fishing in the area of Mandal or just sightseeing it’s beautiful out there
I did miss the toaster though :-(
Kids can fish between the boats, while adults can take a sauna and freshen off by diving into the marina! There are all facilities to prep fish, including freezing
Really around going, trying to promote local food at it's best. And it is. Really! It's expensive but always alert. Got everything you need, even things you didn't knew you want or need 🙏👍
It does help if you have piloted a boat previously. The challets are great with all amenities including microwave and dishwasher
Very good value for the region. The kitchen was equipped with the essentials, room was unique 2-level
The rooms seems to be poorly isolated between the rooms thus we could hear both the person talking and the person answering in his phone through the walls. However we were exhausted after our long travel and slept anyway
Perfect for a sleepover when traveling through. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Amazing customer service and highly recommended. Do be aware that price reflects the standard
Hotel withput reception
Check in at hotel tobi nearby
Rooms are surprising good
It's q nice place with a lot of room for a cheap price. What you get isn't a 5 star hotel, but more of an apartment that you can shortly rent. One thing about it, is simply that you have to get the room key another place
I enjoyed my week long stay here and the new year 2023.The place was clean. l had the opportunity to make myself food at convenience.
Great stay
We had a great stay, beds are very comfortable, room adequate, bathroom compact, very good breakfast, free parking, located in town close to restaurants, highly recommended.
This hotel was the base for visiting the north cape, good location. Hotel is more travel lodge than Hilton. We booked three nights but ended up staying an extra night as all roads closed out due to the weather
We booked a superior room and it had an amazing view, a sauna and amazing breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who's planning to go to North Cape
Location and view. 5 min walk from the boat drop off. Lovely staff. Hotel warm and cosy.
Great hotel near everything , nice rooms and friendly staff
It was disappointing that they didn’t offer any food in restaurant at night even something light would’ve been appreciated as on last night they did something for a group which were also snowed in but we couldn’t join
