Pictured is view from the hotel window. As with Thon hotels, room is clean, functional and of a good quality.

Nice room with a great view
Spacious room in good shape with amazing views of the Cathedral and the fjord. Great counter-top space in the bathroom. Everything clean and in good shape. Wonderful breakfast. Parking in the nearby garage somewhat pricy.

Never fear, THON is here!
Checkin was easy. Friendly lady behind the counter. Got to my room, checked everything out. Nice bathroom with futuristic mirror lighting. A way better toilet than at the Scandic Luleå. And a shower cabinet with not one, but TWO doors, creating a clear corner in the bathroom for showering, unlike the last two hotels I stayed at this trip.
The room itself? HUGE. I have never stayed in a hotel room this big before.
The bed was comfortable. The room was connected to a central aircon unit that gently blowed cold air into the room. This being the third night of my trip, it was the first time I actually slept under the duvet instead of having tossed it to the side.
Breakfast was crowded, but that's because I got there a little later than I normally would've gotten to the buffet.
In all honesty, I would've liked to have stayed another night. One: because I got late to the Tirpitz Museum outside of town and I also had other things planned. Two: because it is an amazing hotel.

How is it possible to not have black-out curtains in a place that you know the sun it's out on the sky non-stop.

The hotel is very well located! It allows you to avoid having to drive to do some shopping or go to the mall.
The staff is warm and helpful (especially the restaurant manager who was there on the morning of January 31st).
The breakfast is more than adequate! There are plenty of delicious meals, with the option of a breakfast package if you need to leave very early for an excursion!
The bedding is superb! The bathroom and bedroom are well heated!
One small drawback is that you can hear your neighbors a little!

The front desk staff basically didn't know anything about it, and they didn't know much about the itinerary and transportation for many local tours. The hotel is in a good location, right next to the station. The hotel facilities are very simple and ordinary. In China, any three-star city business chain under Jinjiang, Huazhu and other groups will have better value for money than this. It can only be said that chain hotels in Norway are at this level, both in terms of services and facilities. You need to come to our country to study.

Clean and modern looking hotel. There is a big parking house beside the hotel, costing 150kr a day, so keep that in mind.
The room was big enough, with a TV, water cooker and a few other things.
Bathroom was big enough and clean.
Beds were Comfortable.
There is a restaurant om the ground floor that serves dinner till 9pm.
This is also where the breakfast is located.
The breakfast selection was decent, but it was busy at around 8am.

I like where the Hotel is situated right at the center of their liitle cozy town. Breakfast is outstanding and lots variety choices
