Beautiful Hôtel. Large windowed rooms. Food is incredible. Young waitresses need to be more polite though. Recommended.

A bit confusing having two hotels called Thon within 100m of each other, but this one has the better views I think. Choose a north-facing room (over the town square) if it's cloudless and the nights are dark; otherwise face the Hurtigruten terminal and the sea.

Overrated. Good breakfast, great views but they cannot compensate the shortcomings in cleanliness and equipment. Old, dirty phone, hairdryer which has not been cleaned for ages, shower head the kind one buys at Lidl for 5.99 euros. Cheap, old toiletries which once finished are bot replaced. Way too expensive for the lack of cleanliness one finds there.
