5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal and walking distance to the centre.

It was a wonderful stay and everything was very pleasant. One small suggestion would be to mention that there is no elevator, as guests with larger luggage might need to carry it up the stairs. Other than that, I truly enjoyed our stay.

Nice view from the balcony that we had in our room, although it is some distance walk to where most restaurants are. The buffet breakfast was a real value for money as there was a wide variety. Thank you to the staff who kept my bag with them when I accidentally left it at the reception.

We had a great stay at Scandic Svolvær. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and well maintained throughout. Overall, a very comfortable stay and I would happily recommend it.

Price is abit on the high side but very nice balcony views and very friendly front desk staff. Nice area for dining as well. Only downside of staying here is it gets quite noisy when people are walking along the corridors but other than that no complains

Awesome location, lots of cafe and restaurant nearby , clean and very good services. We stayed just a night and we were lucky to see northern light by 15 minutes walking form the hotel ( as advised by the receptionist)

The location is fantastic! Our balcony opens right up to the sea, so we could just sit there and relax. The breakfast area was lovely, with a great variety of food, and it starts at 7 AM, which is super convenient. Definitely worth staying here!

Absolutely loved this hotel! The surroundings are incredibly photogenic, and the aurora often appears right on the mountain top across from the hotel. I even asked the front desk for aurora viewing recommendations, and they suggested a small church hill and by the pier. But honestly, you can just watch it from right outside the hotel. Otherwise, you'd have to head towards the city outskirts, and the two places they recommended weren't great, especially the small church – it was too cluttered with trees and rooftops. Plus, the hotel's lobby offers free 24-hour hot water, tea, and coffee, which is a huge bonus! I'm not sure if my room got an upgrade, but it felt much larger than I expected. The hotel has two floors, and the only downside is no elevator. So, it's best to pack your luggage strategically. If you're on the second floor, just take a few essentials up, and you can store your suitcase at the front desk. Of course, when checking in, if you're on the second floor, a staff member will help you with your bags, but you'll have to carry them down yourself when checking out. The hotel is about 600 meters from the pier and several large supermarkets, making shopping and getting around convenient. The parking lot is also spacious. All in all, fantastic value for money! (The aurora was visible above the red house in the third photo).

We were given a room with a great view, and the front desk even helped us with our luggage. The breakfast was also excellent. Thumbs up!
