We stayed at Skarungen in a small but comfortable room with a beautiful fjord view. The room was simple yet cosy, and waking up to the sight of the mountains and water felt very special. Although we didn’t get to see the aurora during our visit, Skarungen’s peaceful setting by the fjord made it a relaxing and memorable stop in Lofoten.

Location perfect, but we had some small issues and could not reach anyone, so service not okay, for the rest - value for money.

The apartment was much better than we expected. Not full score as the reception had moved from Torggata to the Rorbu furthest in without any signs and the did not answer the phone.

Nice service at check in and check out. If you want to use sauna, please book it in advance. It was almost fully booked when we checked in, only left with night time hour.

Quiet and cosy cabin by the water and mountain, very friendly and helpful staff

Oh, these are such atmospheric little houses. We got there on a rainy day, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Everything inside is cozy, despite the single beds. The breakfasts were beyond expectations. The girl at the reception gave us chocolate upon check-out.

It was our first visit in Norway. We checked few thing to try in Norway, one of them is stay in Rorbuer which we booked this Nyvågar Rorbuhotell. We liked a lot this Rorbuer which is great location especially I booked a sea view rorbuer. The breakfast was nice with quality food provided.

Fantastic stay at this wonderful locations! We stayed with our extended family for a few nights and it was perfect! Plenty of free activities to do like badminton, ping pong, fishing, rowing, kayaking, biking… which our kids absolutely loved! The locations is great too! I highly recommend this place!

This is one of my absolute favorite places on planet earth. This was a wonderful escape for our outdoors oriented family. Excellent convenience and spacious

The room was very clean and quite spacious. I could easily open my suitcase, and the large desk was really practical for holding a lot of food. A pleasant surprise was having a small fridge, perfect for storing eggs, milk, yogurt, and meat.

The room was clean and well-equipped with all necessary facilities. It's very close to the city center and not too far from the airport, making transportation very convenient. This makes it a great choice for solo travelers. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.

Check in was smooth but the access code was sent very close to check in time, creating some anxiety. The room was clean. The only one with a balcony was very nice. Amenities were scant, only 2 bath towers and no other tower. The small fridge is useful, as is the tea kettle. The furniture arrangement was sensible  making good use of the small space. Overall good experience.

This is a budget hotel with no staff and fully automated check-in. The hotel emails you the door and room codes in advance, so be sure to check your email. Single rooms are very small, while double rooms are larger. It's very close to the harbor and the center of Svolvær, within a 5-minute walk.

A great stay We stayed in room 221, a large corner room which had lovely views to two sides. Breakfast fantastic. Hotel is ideal for the Hurtigruten ship and also the Arctic Route Bus.

It was a wonderful stay and everything was very pleasant. The room was spacious, with a beautiful curtain wall view, and we really appreciated the telescope thoughtfully prepared on the table.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and the breakfast was incredibly rich. The location is especially good, right by the harbor, and only a five-minute walk to the city center. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, making it the perfect choice for accommodation in Lofoten.

Service: The front desk service was terrible! On the first day of check-in, I booked a taxi for an early morning flight on the third day with the front desk. However, when I went down on the third morning, there was a different person at the front desk who said they couldn't find any record of my booking. They offer free parking at their sister hotel nearby, and there's also a gift shop with reasonably priced souvenirs and postcards.

This is the only hotel in Svolvær that offers breakfast (only Thon hotels do), and the variety is excellent. However, my friend's room on the second floor didn't have an elevator, and our third-floor room had practically no view. The room wasn't very big either.

This hotel is much larger than the one I stayed at in Oslo. When I arrived in the evening, there was a long line for check-in, but it moved quickly. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The view from the hotel window, as shown in the picture, was also fantastic.

It was a wonderful stay and everything was very pleasant. One small suggestion would be to mention that there is no elevator, as guests with larger luggage might need to carry it up the stairs. Other than that, I truly enjoyed our stay.

Nice view from the balcony that we had in our room, although it is some distance walk to where most restaurants are. The buffet breakfast was a real value for money as there was a wide variety. Thank you to the staff who kept my bag with them when I accidentally left it at the reception.

We had a great stay at Scandic Svolvær. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and well maintained throughout. Overall, a very comfortable stay and I would happily recommend it.

Price is abit on the high side but very nice balcony views and very friendly front desk staff. Nice area for dining as well. Only downside of staying here is it gets quite noisy when people are walking along the corridors but other than that no complains

We are so glad we stayed here before continuing our journey to Lofoten. The stay was awesome and it is in the middle of a fishermen’s village. We saw the aurora just in front of the house. Prime location. Super friendly staff. The Ac didn’t seem to work while we were there. Only the front row is free parking. Otherwise you have to pay till 11 pm for parking. We stayed during the low season and were likely the only guests at the hotel. We arrived while it was raining and sent a message to the hotel, but did not receive any response. Fortunately, we met a staff member near the office who kindly made a call for us, which was very helpful. The accommodation itself was quite good and well equipped. We really liked the facilities provided.

Hotel is closed to football stadium and only 5 mins drive to town.

Lobul was absolutely gorgeous! Nestled on the fjord shore, we stayed one night on September 25th and were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights. The wood-burning fireplace in our room was also lovely.

The kitchenware is very old, only plates, no bowls. The bathroom is not separated into wet and dry areas. The staff provided good service and explained everything in detail.

Nice and clean room, great surroundings and amazing breakfast

The room is not big, and the bathroom is also small, but it is very clean. The accommodation is on the second floor, and you need to drag your luggage up the stairs by yourself. The first floor is a cafe for breakfast. As we left early in the morning due to rushing, breakfast is not served until nine o'clock.

Simply perfect!!! I said to the staff that I had no much time but they prepared quickly a good fish soup! The location is very elegant and the staff nice. I really appreciated the welcoming.
