It was a wonderful stay and everything was very pleasant. The room was spacious, with a beautiful curtain wall view, and we really appreciated the telescope thoughtfully prepared on the table.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and the breakfast was incredibly rich. The location is especially good, right by the harbor, and only a five-minute walk to the city center. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, making it the perfect choice for accommodation in Lofoten.

Service: The front desk service was terrible! On the first day of check-in, I booked a taxi for an early morning flight on the third day with the front desk. However, when I went down on the third morning, there was a different person at the front desk who said they couldn't find any record of my booking. In the end, to catch my flight, I had to drag my luggage several kilometers through heavy snow...

They offer free parking at their sister hotel nearby, and there's also a gift shop with reasonably priced souvenirs and postcards.

This is the only hotel in Svolvær that offers breakfast (only Thon hotels do), and the variety is excellent. However, my friend's room on the second floor didn't have an elevator, and our third-floor room had practically no view. The room wasn't very big either.

This hotel is much larger than the one I stayed at in Oslo. When I arrived in the evening, there was a long line for check-in, but it moved quickly. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The view from the hotel window, as shown in the picture, was also fantastic.

Close to the pier, convenient location. The price included breakfast, so it felt like good value for money.

5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal and walking distance to the centre.

It was a wonderful stay and everything was very pleasant. One small suggestion would be to mention that there is no elevator, as guests with larger luggage might need to carry it up the stairs. Other than that, I truly enjoyed our stay.

Nice view from the balcony that we had in our room, although it is some distance walk to where most restaurants are. The buffet breakfast was a real value for money as there was a wide variety. Thank you to the staff who kept my bag with them when I accidentally left it at the reception.

We had a great stay at Scandic Svolvær. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and well maintained throughout. Overall, a very comfortable stay and I would happily recommend it.

Price is abit on the high side but very nice balcony views and very friendly front desk staff. Nice area for dining as well. Only downside of staying here is it gets quite noisy when people are walking along the corridors but other than that no complains

Awesome location, lots of cafe and restaurant nearby , clean and very good services. We stayed just a night and we were lucky to see northern light by 15 minutes walking form the hotel ( as advised by the receptionist) A perfect place to spend during your stay in lofoten ❤️

The location was ok. A short walk away from main city area. Away from most tourist spots too. Breakfast is provided. But unfortunately the sky was cloudy and didn’t get to see the northern lights during my stay.

I booked a double room and messaged the hotel beforehand to ask about rooms where the toilet is inside the shower. They said they'd make a note, so I specifically requested a room where the toilet was *outside* the shower. We are so glad we stayed here before continuing our journey to Lofoten. The stay was awesome and it is in the middle of a fishermen’s village. We saw the aurora just in front of the house. It was so beautiful. The house was very clean and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and slept very well. We also loved the small details in the house.

I was given a perfect cabin facing the sea with a mountain view. The location is actually quite close to town - around 15min walk. A great stay We stayed in room 221, a large corner room which had lovely views to two sides. Breakfast fantastic. Hotel is ideal for the Hurtigruten ship and also the Arctic Route Bus.

I really enjoyed the included breakfast- the best I've ever had! The variety of food and quality was very impressive as was the friendly staff.Our room was spacious and had a nice view of the harbor.

Excellent convenience and spacious

The room was very clean and quite spacious. I could easily open my suitcase, and the large desk was really practical for holding a lot of food. A pleasant surprise was having a small fridge, perfect for storing eggs, milk, yogurt, and meat.

The room was clean and well-equipped with all necessary facilities. It's very close to the city center and not too far from the airport, making transportation very convenient. This makes it a great choice for solo travelers. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.

Check in was smooth but the access code was sent very close to check in time, creating some anxiety. The room was clean. The only one with a balcony was very nice. Amenities were scant, only 2 bath towers and no other tower. The small fridge is useful, as is the tea kettle. The furniture arrangement was sensible  making good use of the small space. This is a budget hotel with no staff and fully automated check-in. The hotel emails you the door and room codes in advance, so be sure to check your email. Single rooms are very small, while double rooms are larger. It's very close to the harbor and the center of Svolvær, within a 5-minute walk.
