The Plaza Hotel and Resort in Salalah

The Plaza hotel is a great place for a quiet vacation. I did not expect much for the price I paid but was pleasantly surprised. The room was huge and spotless, with all the necessities. I think the place is not new but it is very well maintained. Everything is simple but clean and in good condition.
I liked their meals too, especially breakfasts. There was not that much diversity for dinner and lunch, but still the food was delicious.
The pool area is separated from the rest of the territory by a wall. At first it seemed to me a bit weird, but later as I realized what good privacy it provided I loved it. Besides there were very few people by the pool (except for one day out of seven), so I had a great time sunbathing and relaxing. The size of the pool is quite big too. They provide a shuttle bus to the beach three times a day. The beach isn’t great though and that’s what makes their pool even better 😂.
There isn’t much to see around the hotel and, to be honest, the street on which it is located looks a bit scruffy. But the hotel’s inner yard is not that bad.
The staff were welcoming and polite. I would definitely stay here again, it is great value for money.

Nice location, spacious rooms, and pleasant staff.

A great hotel for the price. It's not by the sea, but there's a minibus to the beach. There are two malls nearby, and the hotel has a nice park where locals come to relax. It's a great hangout spot with plenty of shops and restaurants to suit every budget. The rooms are large, clean, and well-maintained. The food is good and varied. I opted for half board. The beach has sun loungers and towels, and there's a villa where you can get a drink and wash up. The beach is gorgeous, with clean white sand and few people. The hotel has a pool on site, but the water is very cold. The staff is very friendly! There are very few Russians, and they were genuinely happy to see us!

A wonderful, quiet place with lovely seating areas and a variety of food options, including a breakfast buffet and dinner catering. Shops and restaurants are nearby. Accommodation: Small suite, room with a living room, for two people.

The hotel is perfectly fine. There is ample parking and the rooms are large. Unfortunately, waiters often clear the entire table during meals, even when there is still food on the plate being eaten.
