The hotel was just beautiful. Everyone was so great. The decorations for Christmas were just amazing and so festive but elegant as is the hotel. We arrive early and they let us use the lounge to warm up and have coffee or tea so we just really appreciated the staff kindness.

Amazing historic hotel was decorated well for the holidays. Best possible location. Great staff. Spotless clean. Comfy bed.

Room faces a pub that closes at 3am and was extremely noisy. Offsite parking is a 10 mins’ walk from hotel which concierge with bags.

The stay was nice overall. We enjoyed the parking, and the location was nice. The rooms were a little tight because my mom was in a wheelchair. The hallways weren’t suited for a wheelchair either.
The front desk lady was super friendly, and so were the breakfast buffet workers.

We had a lovely room, and a very pleasant stay. We shared a lovely snack in the restaurant. We had an appointment early today so we didn’t have breakfast, but I have had it recently and it’s very good.

The service was good and the room was cozy, but the charging ports were old.

It's close to the University of Texas, so I'm very satisfied.

Best Indian in Ireland hands down! Food quality is very high and full of flavours. Highly recommend!

Horrible food and horrible rude manager. We placed order 4884. Paratha's are burnt and the manager is arguing. And he said I can't come there and do check. Stay away from this place
31.10.2017 Brian
Ordered from there tonight. The food fell through the packaging as it was soaked through. Food was also tasteless. The bottle of cobra beer was the only satisfactory part of the order.
11.10.2017 Archie
Food was okay, decor a bit kitsch. Price for starters and main for two was about €65 which was I'd say slightly. More than I'd want to pay for that. Small hair in mint sauce was a bit of a dampener.

Best coffee I've had in Ireland, definitely satisfies a pair of Australian coffee snobs!nice Christmas mince pie!

Food was delicious, I had a lovely vegan option of roast pumpkin stuffed with rice, spiced vegetables and roasted nuts. My only complaint was the noise level which made communication with the waiting staff a little difficult!
26.10.2017 Sharon
Great food, friendly staff, really nice cosy atmosphere

Outstanding food whether you're casual in the tapas bar or more formal in the restaurant. Service is always superb!

This is a popular spot in Cork that has been around for a long time. We had lunch in the portion on Oliver Plunkett St. It was busy and seating was a bit tight. Service was friendly and efficient. We had the fish and chips which were tasty. The fish had a light batter which wasn't greasy. The pea purée had mixed reactions - some thought it a bit dry. Prices were reasonable.

Got the antipasto and a pizza and was very impressed. Both were delicious. The antipasto plate for one looked small at first but was actually good value and though I wasnt full, I was satisfied. The pizza was very tasty too. Nice crisp base and not floppy like a lot of places. Could be a little bigger though. Also the price was a little high for what we got. All in all, recommended.

The place is big and you don't realise until your inside. The menu does offer a wide range of pizza and other Italian dishes. Always ask what size the pizza is vs other portions. I went as a family of 2 adults and 3 children under 10. The kids menu is a 3 course menu for €8.50 and drinks are not included ( remember that ) our bill in terms of value came to €97 and change so value for money and service is very high. Word of caution add it up as you go..
20.12.2017 Gladis
The food was so good at this restaurant. The pizza you can get it really thin and it was amazing. We ordered and got our food fairly quickly. And then truly enjoyed

Had an amazing meal here. Everyone was really nice and the food was prepared and brought to us very quick. Very enjoyable for Everyone whether it be for a couple or a family everyone is made feel welcome.
29.11.2017 Alma
I hadn’t been for a few years & I have never written a review but felt I had to. The food was undercooked, we were seated at a dark corner when there were only 3 other tables seated. One waiter on duty whose manner was atrocious. Asked could he cook the pizza longer & it came back burnt. Bill pretty much thrown on the table. AWFUL SERVICE, AWFUL FOOD & it has changed so much to what it was years ago. And they weren’t even busy.
