Absolutely beautiful hotel and facilities definitely coming back

Great location to visit the wildlife park but it’s not walkable. Room was lovely. It had everything we needed. Peaceful nights sleep too. You have to pre book the leisure club and children are only allowed at certain times meaning we missed out in the morning as my 13yr old wasn’t allowed in until 9am but we had to leave then. Breakfast: Choice of food was amazing. Absolutely everything on offer....

I stayed for one night on Christmas Day and had food and accommodation in the hotel. Overall it was good.

Room was spotless, very comfortable, staff were super friendly and accommodating, really couldn’t complain about anything to be honest will definitely be back!

Castlemartyr is a great place to relax and enjoy long walks, the dinner was amazing, so tasty and good. Classic retreat hotel - warm welcome on arrival, attentive staff, great dining options. It is like staying a country manor house but being able to walk into town. Definitely try the formal dining option - the menu was well put together and with a good wine list. The rooms are comfortable with a nice aspect over the gardens and views out to the town.

I was at Jurys all week for work and I have to say from the moment I arrived everything was top notch! The hotel itself is located right on Anderson's Quay, just around the corner from Cork's main streets, making it ideal for exploring the city. Service is always 5*. Reception staff always very helpful. Recently left my charger after my stay unfortunately it was a bit of an expensive one so I asked them if they found it in the room. They held onto it until I got back to collect it. And was the correct one too

The hotel was really lovely, great location and staff. The only problem I could find with the hotel was the breakfast, I had a full irish breakfast every morning at a few different times and it was always too dry. I think the hotel must prepare many, keep them under heat lamps and then just add a freshly cooked egg when they are ordered.

Nice historical hotel on one of the main streets. The room was too small, the floor uneven. Basic amenities : drinking water, ironing board. No fridge, no water kettle. Completely overpriced, not at expected standards. Not recommended.

It turns out that the hotel in Cork does not necessarily have air conditioning. You must be mentally prepared for staying in the summer. The location of the hotel in the city center is convenient!

The hotel is located by the river in the city center. It is a 5-minute walk to the pedestrian street. It has everything you need for food and shopping. It is highly recommended!

Hotel is very central to the city of Cork. The attending staff were always smiling and all so very helpful. The room was airy and bright and extremely clean.

I got a room with a window facing the in-door atrium, which meant not having a window with daylight. For the price I paid, I would expect to have a room with a window with daylight. Spa was not clean and I didn't enjoy it at all. Breakfast was not good either. I won't stay with Clayton again.

If staying in cork you have to stay here ! A beautiful hotel,luxurious rooms that you just won't want to leave ! The food here is mouth watering and the breakfast filled me for the day. Wonderful gardens in the back for playing sports or enjoying shade. We were there for my husband's work event. The room was lovely decorated, the food was grilled on the spot and there was an open bar. What a great party!

This place seems to have gone downhill from when it opened. Men's bathroom had a powerful smell of urine. Bar has a steakhouse vibe to it. Not comfortable and the place is quite shabby from human traffic. Great food though. We were very happy with that.

Lovely hotel and surrounding area. The thermal rooms in the spa are one of the best I visited and had the place all to myself (separate area male/female). Dinner at the restaurant was nice but long waiting times between dishes. Rooms are OK.

Hotel is conveniently located with easy walking distance to center city and a short drive to South Ring Road. Entrance to car park was too narrow and free parking tickets didn’t always work. Food in the River Lee Club was disappointing and could be improved.

We had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at this lovely hotel. The staff were absolutely fantastic. We were only supposed to stay for 3 nights but because of the hurricane they accommodated us for another night. We would gladly stay again.

Staff very friendly but tables = service not organised. If each waitress had their own area to look after it would be easier on every one. Having to wait at the till to pay is not necessary when there is such efficient staff who could take the money at the table. This would also ensure better tip for your staff. The hotel is very conveniently located. You can walk to the British Market. There are many restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel facilities and layout are also very tasteful. The designer of this hotel also designed several famous buildings in the city. The only problem is that the toilet drains very slowly. Parking is also charged separately.

Despite being a busy venue for weddings and functions the overnight guests are well looked after too. From reception to the rooms, from the restaurant to the bar, all of the staff are friendly, courteous, helpful and even chatty. They make the welcome "local" as if visiting family. Fantastic hotel! Great staff led by manager Joe. The hotel is spotlessly clean and all staff were wearing face masks. We were very careful given the current Covid 19 situation but felt very safe during our stay. The breakfast was amazing! Special thanks to Maria at the front desk for all her help! We stayed at Maldron Cork in March just before the corona craze. It was a very pleasant stay. The room we got was not too big, but the beds were comfortable enough. The pool and jacuzzi are ok, the changing rooms could be warmer but they were clean which is important. We had a lovely dinner, really nicely presented, great food, great value. Location is pretty good just outside the city. Room are as you you'll expect. (a little on the warm side but better than cold) Food in the restaurant was pretty good can't say anything bad about it, service was friendly & staff were very good.

Good service, lovely setting in the forest, and also great for families. Sunday buffets in the ballroom have a dedicated play area for kids. Perfect!
