Isaacs Hotel Cork City, Cork1 / 30
8.9
Cork, 48 MacCurtain Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Spotless, modern apartment with kitchen and washer/dryer in the city center. Loved it!
The apartment we booked was perfect for our group. Plenty of room, comfortable, everything worked and the location was spot on
Big beautiful room very comfortable bed!, well stocked, great location, parking was messed up but that’s not their fault.
The apartment has a good range of facilities, including a washing machine and dishwasher (with some supplies provided so they could be used). It was modern and comfortable and had effective heating. It was located in a great area of Cork.
Not our first stay at Isaacs Hotel. Lovely room, which was quiet despite overlooking the main road. We were able to get into our room earlier than expected. Friendly staff.
We loved everything about Isaacs hotel. We were early for check-in but they were very accommodating. It is clearly an older building but was well maintained while still keeping the original charms. The room was huge for the price. The street felt safe and quiet but had lots of restaurants around. I would definitely stay here again.

Some dranken men screamed in middle of the night and woke me up. My room is facing a rubbish collection point(I think it is) and every night some dranken ppl gathered there and made noise. Very annoying especially our room is at lower floor.
Hotel is very nice. Was issued the wrong room first but quickly and efficiently sorted. Some construction going on at the main entrance at the moment.
Nice hotel, located near bus station, train station and shopping centre.
Really clean hotel in a great location. Rooms were big and quiet. Breakfast was fine, but the coffee could’ve been better, and I wish there were more cheeses and greens to choose from.
Breakfast is good, room is big enough but no shopping centre nearby. Food street close to hotel is nice for dinner.
Hotel is very central to the city of Cork. The attending staff were always smiling and all so very helpful. The room was airy and bright and extremely clean.

Cork, Carrigrohane Rd (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The carpet of the room had stains all over it. Some front desk staff were nice, but a couple of the ladies were rude. You cannot get a spa appointment at all as it is full from appointments of people who live in the area, this was disappointing.
I have not one complaint. It was a great introduction to Ireland.
Beautiful room. Spacious bright and spotless. All the staff are welcoming and professional. We were disappointed to find that the restaurant had closed at 6.30 on Sunday evening. The bar food was terrible. But it’s a comfortable place to sit and relax.
The Kingsley had a great location just on the edge of town which made it convenient to get in and out. Beautiful setting adjacent to the river. Very quiet and the staff was so very friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom huge!
There is an outdoor hot spring, an unexpectedly large gym with sandbags and boxing gloves, an indoor swimming pool and a rich breakfast selection. Choosing this hotel is the right choice for my trip to Ireland.
The room is large and well-equipped

The location and grounds were perfect for us. The staff were friendly and efficient. Very welcoming place to stay.
This place was absolutely stunning!! The staff was so amazing and helpful. Their driver took us down for dinner at The Hunted Hog in town and it was so delicious. Our room was beautiful and so spacious. A complimentary bottle of wine was waiting upon our arrival. Would book this again and again and again!!! Unfortunately it was raining so we didn’t get to explore the grounds but from what I could see...
Lovely stay, including high tea, lovely grounds, the fabulous food and the exceptional service of the staff, especially Zabir!
It was very perfect, we really liked it, we completed 22 years of marriage and everything was perfect.
Site, staff, dining, Nespresso coffee in room, comfortable beds…this resort has it all!
Beautiful property with so many nice amenities. I expected the food at the restaurants to be super expensive, but it was reasonable considering.

A lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Despite being an incredibly busy weekend all of the staff were always ready to help with a smile. The facilities were very good and much appreciated when it just poured down most of one day. Views of Cork from our apartment and especially from the glasshouse bar and the restaurant were wonderful. It was a brilliant place to stay.
Friendliest welcome ever! Hotel is stunning. Fabulous style and great vibes. Love the views and the spa is excellent. Staying in 2 bed apartment which is superb!
Loved this hotel. Staff very professional and breakfasts with good variety and delicious. Enjoyed the garden with the whimsical rabbit sculptures. Also watched a movie in the very comfortable cinema. Highly recommend this hotel
Delighted by initial impression, friendly greeting by staff, well-appointed room, health club amenities, spectacular views from beautiful comfortably furnished patios, gorgeous Victorian garden, retro movie theatre, Glasshouse cocktail bar, dining options, and help with touring and travel planning.
The hotel is very good. You can see the whole city of Cork from the top of the mountain.
Me and my partner enjoyed the spa. It was good experience and will visit again once I come back to Cork

Everything about our stay was perfection. Could not find even the smallest of faults.
Friendly staff, great pool and gym, nice short stroll to city centre and great food in restaurant. Have stayed before and would certainly stay again
Room was spacious and bright, bed was comfy. The hotel's bar and dining areas are a highpoint. They are stylish and cosy with lots of light and greenery. Good for both business and leisure travellers I'd say. Also a lovely location, a short walk from the hustle and bustle with a lovely "rus in urbe" vibes. The one snag was the breakfast which felt a little underwhelming.
Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The toiletries were the white company and very nice. Staff were all very knowledgeable and friendly.
Room wasn't bad. However, the casting function on the TV didn't work properly. So, Xin Xin and I couldn't watch the Halloween movies and TV shows we had planned. She's soooo important to me so felt really bad about it :(
The most satisfactory hotel I stayed in Ireland. Complete facilities, good hygiene. Beautiful environment. The breakfast was very good, and the hotel restaurant was especially delicious. The service staff was very attentive and patient.

The Hayfield Manor hotel has class in absolutely every brick. With a wonderful suite, great food and drinks as well as friendly and comfortable areas to just chill and enjoy life, you really couldn’t ask for more.
The staff here are simply wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, and the swimming pool was excellent. Appreciated the plsuh bathrobes and discreet access without having to cross the lobby. Having separate areas in the bar area and library reserved for hotel guests was lovely and appreciated during the busy holiday season.
Beautiful hotel - our favorite stay in Ireland! The room was great, we loved the spa and breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very conscious of food allergies, which was appreciated. The only downside is that the doorman/ bellhops were a bit aggressive upon arrival. We prefer to take our own luggage to the room and had to be a bit stern. But otherwise, our stay was perfect. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay at Hayfield Manor very much. Our room was spacious and well furnished. The service was fabulous from everyone we encountered. Our dinner at Blooms was delicious and the breakfast buffet outstanding!
A classic hotel, beautifully decorated and maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Everything was absolutely perfect. The service was the best I have ever experienced. Every staff member we met went out of their way to welcome us and help us in any way possible. They were so friendly and genuine. This is truly the best hotel we have ever stayed at.

Staff were courteous but rom had a number of problems, No heat in the room on arrival. This was resolved. No hot water the following morning. Alternative room was provided for shower etc.
Staff were very courteous and helpful .The room was very clean and comfortable though a bit too hot overnight
Located outside Cork – this a delightful full-service hotel that provides an oasis of quiet. We stayed for a single night on our leisure trip to Ireland – and although it was on the outskirts of Cork, it helped us discover the delightful town of Cobh – a hidden gem in Ireland. Breakfast the next day was wonderful and set us up nicely for the Ring of Kerry. We look forward to coming back to Ireland...
Great stay in Cork, Ireland The service was amazing. The property was extremely comfortable and spacious. The staff was very friendly and professional. I would definitely stay at this property again in the future.
We have come to expect more from this chain but like Athlone we were left with a bad overall experience we’re sorry to say.
Had a great experience. The room was clean, modern, and comfortably furnished. The bed was cozy, and Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The bathroom was spotless, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Staff were friendly and responsive. Overall, a solid stay—I'd definitely return.

Decent hotel by the train station if you don't mind the sound of the trains. Window profiles don't offer the best acoustic performance
Location is perfect which near the bus station travel from Dublin, train station is 1 min away , the room is clean , large and comfortable, we got a welcome drinks while checking in , staff is friendly and they have a leaflet /map that introduce scenic spot of cork city, it’s really helpful and I love it .
Hotel is vey stylish and modern, lovely rooms, the restaurant is on the 6th floor and has great views! The only problem we had was parking as the yrainstation car park was full!
I live on the 3rd floor. The noise isolation from downstairs is not good. The bathroom is well designed with a dry and wet separation, although there is no bathtub. The bathroom does not have a horizontal bar or hanging wire for hanging clothes, only wall-mounted hooks.
The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious. We also had dinner with friends and family in Sophie's restaurant, which was enjoyed by all!
Very convenient to Cork Kent Station and city centre. Very comfortable and modern decor . Wonderful view from Sophie’s restaurant. Beautiful pool .

We attended family wedding at Fota on this visit absolutely love this hotel from location to staff to food 5⭐ all the way
Fabulous from start to finish. Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful setting, clean, warm, good food . Earns it's 5 stars
Very relaxing night spent here. The spa was great and the rooms were very spacious. Loved the bathtub and the bed was very cosy. The Amber Lounge was delicious too!
Dinner service was a bit slow in regards yo ordering a drink and the delay in ordering food. Service throughout the rest of the hotel was fantastic as always.
The food quality at dinner was average at best. A strange menu with steaks and some fish offered for 2 people instead of individual portions Prices reflect the 5 star setting but the quality of the food served was below expectations

Dinner was v nice. Staff excellent but disappointed with breakfast choices. No skim or low fat milk or yogurt
Excellent place, lovely room, lovely staff and amazingly clean!
Beautiful Hotel, particularly the lobby. Our room floor was a little dated and well worn. One elevator was not in service the first night. The room was clean and comfortable, however when we went to shower, had no water. Maintenance came and we were provided a replacement room later that afternoon. Mechanical issues are understandable and staff treated us excellently to move us to a room with working...
Very convenient location, nice hotel, and friendly staff. Everything was clean and comfortable — great place to stay!
Metropole review Lovely central hotel, excellent value, friendly and front of house staff from porter to receptionists very good at their job. Only one constructive observation, breakfast room staff appeared to be on a different planet than in the room, slow, at times for the birds, slow to attend tables, replenishing food on the self service took an iternity. They lacked some sort of supervision....
The hotel main areas are in stunning condition after the refit. The rooms are in need of a definite revamp. The hotel is excellent for convenience to access travel links, being able to nip down the street or head out for something to eat lots of availablity in that respect but a good revamp in the rooms would set this hotel miles apart from the rest.

The hotel was just beautiful. Everyone was so great. The decorations for Christmas were just amazing and so festive but elegant as is the hotel. We arrive early and they let us use the lounge to warm up and have coffee or tea so we just really appreciated the staff kindness.
Amazing historic hotel was decorated well for the holidays. Best possible location. Great staff. Spotless clean. Comfy bed.
The stay was nice overall. We enjoyed the parking, and the location was nice. The rooms were a little tight because my mom was in a wheelchair. The hallways weren’t suited for a wheelchair either. The front desk lady was super friendly, and so were the breakfast buffet workers.
Loved this place! It was ckean, friendly and close to everything. It was a special place and I love that they we setting up, in a big way, for Christmas.
The cozy room was fabulous and clean and had great little details. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
We had a lovely room, and a very pleasant stay. We shared a lovely snack in the restaurant. We had an appointment early today so we didn’t have breakfast, but I have had it recently and it’s very good.

It’s a little bit out of Cork, but a lovely property: both old and new part of the hotel. The best option would be a suite in the 300 year old original building, if you can afford it. But garden view newer rooms also nice!
Environmentally wonderous. Astonishing trees and grounds. I appreciated the pool and the lane for swimmers doing lengths. Fabulous breakfast.
Excellent hotel. The staff was a amazing, the ladies only pool and spa area was THE BEST! Our only issue was the instant coffee in the rooms. That was super disappointing but we know to be prepared for the possibility of it for the last 1/2 of our trip! It sure didnt wreck our stay since the hotel is super fancy and really amazing though!
Luxurious and class personified. Keelan, Allen in the restaurant and bar were excellent and friendly. Book here asap as they are very busy.
A beautiful Resort with lovely bar, lounge and grounds. Our rooms were wonderful and the spa clean and nice. The staff was excellent.
What an excellent surprise. This hotel was friendly at Ck in and John was a big help at the concierge director . Showed us around, restaurants , facilities, and even helped with the luggage. Really made us feel special!!

Really enjoyable stay. Very friendly staff, room was nice and spacious. The hotel felt modern but not clinical. Very good drink selection in the bar.
Had issues with water and not much heating. Pipe had burst in town, was being fixed. But otherwise was ok. Friendly staff
This is a very cool hotel. We are giving it 4 stars because of the service we received our first night. Yes, it was later in the evening when we arrived for dinner and drinks, however, it was obvious that staff was annoyed that we had come in - even though there were others in the restaurant and bar. We had to flag down a server every time we needed a drink.
I didn't have breakfast as needed to get off but I ate in the restaurant the night before and enjoyed a fine meal. Staff were excellent and my room was spotless and very comfortable
Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, library/pub in hotel had great history. Don was a great server and very knowledgable.

The Ashley hotel gets a 5 star rating from me. A cosy, traditional hotel, great location in the city centre, reasonable prices, and with staff who are so welcoming and helpful.
A stay at this hotel in Cork was included with our bus tour. It was a lovely hotel built in 1840. Our expectations were low we admit, so we were all very pleasantly surprised by the larger beds in the single rooms. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were all upgraded and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. We recommend this hotel!
Place was very out dated, receptionist was very nice and friendly, perfect location, problem with room was it was very cold, bedsheets were very dirty which is a disgrace
Great stay staff were very friendly and nice cheap price and clean rooms and very close to everything
We booked this hotel for its location and safe parking for motorbikes. Easy to find and in a great location, small safe car park for bikes and cars and no extra charge. Super friendly helpful staff, room perfect for 2 guys with free tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer and TV. Receotion rang room to see if everything was okay, it was really warm and asked if a fan was available. Brought fan to room...
It was a good stay. It was very close to the city centre and train station so it was very easy to walk around and find it. It was on a street with one of the most famous pubs so a bit noisey on the evenings but if you don't mind then it is a good hotel.
