Hotel opened in 1925, renovated in 2005. In this hotel 16 rooms, 7 floors.

Policies and conditions

Children of any age are allowed.
Children up to and including 2 years old stay for 60 lei per person per night when using an available cot.
Children up to and including 6 years old stay for 20 lei per person per night when using an existing bed.
People no matter the age stay for 120 lei per person per night when using an available extra bed.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.
Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.

Firstly the hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are large and well appointed, comfy beds, nice big bath, mini fridge, slippers, comfy chairs, tea and coffee. Everything you could need, The staff are also excellent (multsumesc Andrej) and they had these little cheesy pastry things as part of the breakfast that were di-VINE. It's tall and thin with a small lift, very Parisian style.

The location is a short walk from the centre and right on the edge of the old town party district which, although not the hotel's fault, means it is often VERY LOUD due to a busker who apparently uses the same sound system as Aerosmith.

Lovely little hotel and even lovelier staff. Perfectly located for the centre of the old town. Would definitely stay again.

Good location unfortunately the rest is very poor. Room with bath but no bath plug! therefore unusable and staff could not find one.! 1 tea bag .. shows lack of any attention to detail. Written complaint went unanswered.

I come here with my mom and it was wonderful. The hotel has a nice 1920 there with old elevator that takes you back in time. The reception was very nice and let us occupy our room before schedule for only a small fee. Unfortunate, Old Town very loud and we could not rest, but this is not problem of the Hotel. Very good place.

I loved this place. It's in the old town, great location, great staff and very clean. Our rooms were huge, had a TV, wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities, and paper slippers after your shower!
Breakfast was European, eggs, ham, cheese, omelette, and cereal, I can't say anything bad about it. Its not a posh 5 star, but it's a good, clean, roomy, friendly place to stay.

Large clean room with a bath. Right in the Centre of town. Staff really friendly.

Very noisy rooms. Can hear singing half the night. Didn't get any sleep. Invest in Triple Glazing.

Perfect Location in Old Town, very nice and friendly personnel, rooms so big and spacious, renovated baths, but the wooden floor is very noisy. Cleaning was not up to expectations ( glasses and coffee mugs were not replaced nor washed)

One if the best location in Bucharest.
Easy to reach from a
The airport (one bus ride till University station and about 5 min. Walk)
The whole area is great and turned into a nice lively streets at night with many bar opens around.
The hotel itself is very small.
We took the tourist room and it wasn't bad.
Yes, it isn't a luxury but worth every penny.
Breakfast included too and great selection was available.
Welcome drink is also served for every guest!

Nice tea but a bit expensive. Downstairs they have a fruit processor for shakes that can be very noisy.

Worst sushi ever!

Food was ok, but could be better. I am not eating sushi, so review is based on the other food in the menu. My wife said sushi was good, though. Ambiance is so-so, being in a mall. Service was ok.
