Monte Carlo Palace Suites in Bucharest

from the name it seemed like I don't know what: HOTEL MONTE CARLO PALACE but when we arrived on Friday evening September 13th after the concert at the ROMEXPO the disappointment was total. They gave us a room in the basement with a shared bathroom (actually it was specified in the ad but I didn't see it), but in a 4 star hotel I would never have thought of finding a shared bathroom, it didn't write that the room was in the basement and not even that it was that small, it was no more than 14 square meters (in the ad it wrote 20 square meters). I asked if they could change the room for me by paying the difference but it wasn't possible, I asked to be reimbursed but they refused this too). 50 euros a day for a room in the basement of 14 square meters with a shared bathroom and without breakfast is actually too much. Don't be fooled when you book, they put photos of the nicer apartments or rooms on the upper floors but they forget to write if the room is in the basement. Needless to say, they won't see me again!!!!!!!!
