Good hotel but bad restaurant

Restaurant review.
Late in the evening we went to a restaurant hoping to have a delicious dinner in a pleasant atmosphere, but something went wrong...
The waiter did not warn us that the restaurant was closing soon and if we want to sit measuredly - we are not here. When ordering, I could not answer the question about the output of dishes (for what volume the price is indicated), out of 3 ordered dishes, I brought 2 without explanation and warning. Further - more ... the lights were abruptly turned off in the whole hall, leaving us to eat in complete darkness))) Neither our waiter, nor others who went about their business at a distance paid attention to this until we asked to return the lighting.
The food is ok, but it's probably hard to mess up grilled fish. At the same time, the price tag is above average.
I do not advise at all, in Derbent there are places with excellent cuisine and decent service at a lower price.

Well rested here with his wife. Comfortable rooms, own Parking, own access to the beach shower to rinse the sand. Good restaurant.

Kitchen - above all praise! Purity, benevolence, kindness! Now I understand what Caucasian hospitality! Thank you very much! Derbent is a city to love unconditionally! Want to come back here again and again! Wonderful and helpful people! It is a pity that stars are assigned to hotels in the area and the number of towels You deserve much more! 10 of 10 points! The hotel is beautiful. Clean, cosy rooms. Courtyard with Parking. The terrace directly to the beach. From the hotel to the fortress by taxi can be reached in 90 RUB restaurant with a decent kitchen. Very happy with the stay

I want to Express my gratitude to you , we are guests from Moscow , stayed 15.07.2017 you have lived in a 6 room . The hotel can easily give 5 stars !!! The rooms are clean and cozy . The staff is friendly , always smiling . The restaurant ? this hotel is just at the highest level in Moscow have rarely seen such a service , the supply of food , quality food , the waiters know their stuff 100% . And surprisingly not that expensive . Was very impressed , saw a lot of that but this no where !!! Sorry I'm leaving ! THANKS for the GREAT GUIDE so are serious about your business !!!

I was recently in this hotel I will say that perhaps the best hotel on the coast. The staff are excellent the food is also, in General left only a good impression ???

Had breakfast from 9 am to 9.30 am. Waiters forbade ordering outdoors as well as going outside with food. During the meal, I discovered that it turned out that orders had already been taken at several tables in the open air, and some had already been brought. It was also very unpleasant to go to the men's room. In terms of cleanliness and odors, it surpassed even the toilets at train stations. The menu is weak and prices are higher than the top of town. It is unclear why the reviews are positive for this hotel. 1 out of 5

Great clean hotel. Beautiful, clean rooms with sea views. Excellent rooms - the decor in the room you need. Original and beautiful restaurant menu on a tablet and great food. And what's the tea with mountain thyme...
