It was all ok for a 3-star until on my last evening I bought the local specialty fish, and in the morning discovered a small paper sign on the desk saying I was supposed to keep it in a special fridge at the reception. Not only was the sign inconspicuous but a special treatment awaited me at the reception when I went downstairs. A woman who said she was the director of the place happened to be there and started an ugly scandal in front of everyone, chastising me for making them air the room now. She alternated between the versions of me being the only guest to aggravate them like this and the fish being a standing issue. I understand the inconvenience, but that was totally disproportionate and out of place, given that I'd had no special warnings at check-in and the sign card was small and one in a number of others stuck in a dark corner of a room with a skylight window only, on a desk that stands apart from the other furniture. Friendly as the other staff had been, I'm not taking chances of staying here again.
Update: My colleague said he got shouted at as well. The towel rack is his room was above the toilet, and one of his towels must have slipped into it in his absence, so he was later ambushed by a maid. So much for the other staff's friendliness.

Oh wait: another update. Another colleague says he'd left his fish in the fridge at the reception, but upon his return home found only 3 of the 6 fish in the package. Keeps getting better.

No hot water in whole hotel, bathroom not really clean and outdated. Breakfast was not a succes either. Staff was unhelpful with any questions from the group. They did speak English.
