The hotel Angara is located in the very heart of Irkutsk on Kirov square, opposite the city Hall, near the regional administration and close to all the important points in the city. From hotel to airport 15 minute drive.
Hotel opened in 1964, renovated in 2018. In this hotel 300 rooms, 7 floors.

- the room is very small they said it’s 17 meter square but I think it’s very small even the bathroom can not fit for 2 people , the mattress they use a very cheap one I really could’t sleep at night , for the money o paid for this hotel I could get a better one

+ A large hotel complex right in the center. Perfectly located for a city trip. All sights are within walking distance, the train station is about 30 minutes away on foot. There is a supermarket right next door that is even open until 11 p.m. Very helpful hotel staff who also speak a little English. There is a laundry service for your clothes. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay and can only recommend it.01.06.2024

+ Clean room and well located to go around Irkutsk. I was surprised that tea and coffee was not provided in the hotel. There is a super market just below if you need anything. Nice breakfast with a lot of choice and good quality price.- -

+ Very nice hotel. Professional personel. All personel is helpful and friendly. Very good restaurant and breakfast. Single room is small but comfortable and contains everything which is needed including air conditioning and equipment for tea and coffee. Bathroom is clean and fully equipped. Location is very nice. Grocery store is nearby as well as few bars and restaurants. I will definitely stay in Angara hotel during my next visit in Irkutsk. Very good breakfast with many options to eat. All looks tasty.
