This is a very atmospheric, authentic "boutique" hotel in an old housing stock, in the historical center of St. Petersburg.
The staff is gentle, courteous, not intrusive, and always ready to help. Rooms and public areas - with a fairly recent renovation. Peace and quiet throughout the hotel. All the time of residence does not leave the feeling of a cozy home, not a hotel. The walls of the vestibule and flights of stairs are "lined" with old red brick, protected by a transparent matte coating [designed, obviously, to prevent shedding], and which is the main building material of the walls - in combination.

Of the negative and obviously biased (on my part) points:
1. There is no lounge area, bar and restaurant. But there is a justification for this moment too: the configuration of the hotel's interior space, and in general, its stylistic regen - does not imply spacious guest areas.
2. Breakfasts are relatively modest [relative to large chain hotels], but quite high quality and satisfying.
3. And now the "non-objective moment":
My review cannot be considered fully representative, because I stayed at this hotel while on a business trip. Accordingly, the accommodation was paid for by the company, and therefore, I cannot objectively compare the cost of living with its quality ...
Yes, the stay was of high quality and pleasant, regardless of any factors, including price, but ... nevertheless ... When you yourself do not pay, it is difficult to be completely objective when writing such reviews - whether it is a hotel, restaurant, or any service of the event industry...

In general, I recommend this hotel for staying in St. Petersburg - both for business trips and for leisure and walking around one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

Great value for money. Situated a short walk from St Isaacs, Nevsky Prospect, Hermitage. Good selection at breakfast. Well equipped rooms.

Budget hotel worth it’s price. I was in the economy, room without bath. Room was clean and has everything basic but has weird smell. And also, this is old building so NO Elevator!!! Economy room is on 3rd(4th) floor and no one is help you moving luggages. And the building repair is going on so you’ll wake up around 9. And workers are just next to your window. The concierge only speaks basic English but very helpful
