Holiday Inn Tagansky, an IHG Hotel in Moscow

An excellent hotel in a convenient location. No unnecessary pretentiousness. Quiet and cozy, without the constant hum of ventilation and exhaust fans. I appreciated the bathtub in the standard room and the Lenten menu in the restaurant. A bottle of drinking water could have been nice in the room; it's a small thing, but it's certainly noticeable.

I've been staying at the hotel since September 20th. I'm still here. I'm writing a review because I really want to praise the hotel staff. Yes, all hotels have their downsides, and I'm not going to sing the praises of the Holiday Inn as perfect... No, there was hair, dirty towels, toilets... but the most important thing is HOW the staff responded and how quickly they corrected the situation! I was upgraded to a room with an upgrade, and there were issues—the window didn't close properly, and there were cigarette burns in the bathroom... they fixed everything after my first request. I believe that this quality—FAST, efficient correction of defects—is what earns me the coveted FIFTH star in the rating! Thanks to manager Anna, thanks to the staff! I sincerely thank you! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND the hotel! Returning March 2021: I have a lot to say! This is my second time at the hotel! I'm staying for 10 days. My first stay had some issues... but I was impressed by how the staff handled all my issues. I'm back. I have no regrets. The room was spotless! Like Kirill the Flying, I inspected every corner! 😂 I even checked the TV))) No dirt, you're awesome! Thanks to all the staff for their cooperation this time: no water - please, extra hanger - please... the reception staff are awesome! The breakfasts at the hotel are delicious, buffet style. For those who are constantly working out, there's a COMPACT gym. Yes, there's no barbell, but you'll get the basics down. A CONFIDENT 5 this time! Keep it up! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The V Chase is a decent hotel, and for Moscow, I think the price/quality ratio is right. The rooms are quite decent and clean, with two bottles of water replenished daily, and the bathroom is also stocked with disposable gel and shampoo. It's very convenient that each room has an ironing board and iron, which is great for business travelers, as you don't have to run up and down the hall begging for one. There's also a safe in the closet. It's strange, but cool, that the TV sound comes through speakers built into your bed. The breakfast is a good buffet, and I highly recommend it, as there's a wide selection to choose from. However, you have to pay for it when you book your room; it's cheaper that way. If you don't include breakfast, you can, of course, pay for it separately, but it will cost you two to three times as much. As for dinner, if you're really, really hungry and don't want to take a stroll down the beautiful alley, you'll be fed here, but the selection isn't great, the menu is definitely overpriced, and it'll take a long time to cook.

My wife and I had an absolutely unforgettable winter vacation at Holiday Tagansky Hotel in Moscow, and from the very first moment, it felt like a truly special experience. Arriving in Moscow during the snowy season already feels magical, but staying at this hotel elevated the entire trip to another level. The exterior looked beautiful against the winter snow, and stepping inside felt warm, elegant, and welcoming, which was exactly what we needed after traveling in the cold.

The check-in experience was smooth, professional, and genuinely pleasant. The staff greeted us with smiles, spoke clearly, and made us feel immediately comfortable, as if we were valued guests rather than just another booking. They were very helpful with directions, recommendations, and general assistance throughout our stay. Despite being in a major city, the rooms were very quiet, allowing us to sleep deeply and wake up refreshed every morning. Looking outside at the snow-covered surroundings while enjoying a warm drink inside the room was one of the most memorable and romantic parts of our stay.

The location of Holiday Tagansky is excellent, particularly for tourists. It is conveniently close to public transportation, making it easy to explore Moscow even in winter. We were able to reach major attractions, shopping areas, and cultural landmarks without difficulty. After full days of sightseeing in the cold, returning to such a comfortable and well-located hotel was a true luxury.

Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight of our stay. The selection was generous, fresh, and well presented, with something for every taste. Starting our winter mornings with a warm, satisfying breakfast before heading out into the snow made a big difference to our energy and mood. The dining area was clean, calm, and well organized, adding to the overall premium experience.

Housekeeping deserves special recognition. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, towels were fresh, and everything was perfectly arranged when we returned. This level of consistency and attention made us feel relaxed and well cared for, which is exactly what you want during a vacation.

The hotel also felt very safe and secure, which is extremely important when traveling as a couple in a foreign city. The atmosphere was calm, respectful, and well managed, giving us peace of mind throughout our stay. Staff members were always available and polite, whether we needed assistance or simply had a small question.

What truly stood out about Holiday Tagansky was how it balanced comfort, elegance, and warmth. It didn’t feel overly formal, yet it still maintained a refined and high-quality standard. Every detail, from the service to the room environment, contributed to a sense of luxury without feeling forced.

Overall, our winter stay at Holiday Tagansky Hotel was exceptional and left us with wonderful memories of Moscow. It was the perfect place to stay with my wife during a snowy vacation — comfortable, romantic, reliable, and beautifully managed. We would absolutely choose this hotel again and highly recommend it to couples, travelers, and anyone looking for a premium yet welcoming stay in Moscow.
