- Room was very dated. Shower was terrible. Breakfast wasn't great

- I would like to lodge my com plaint against Ermitage Hotel. The hotel condition wasn’t good. I had to change three rooms. The first room was being already used by someone. When I opened the door the bed was untidy & there were open bottles. Later. I was given another room on the 3rd floor which wasn’t kept well. The elevator in this wing wasn’t working & I had to drag my luggage to the 3rd floor. The rooms were unclean & the bathroom extremely unhygienic & old fashioned On my request, they shifted me to another wing on the 2nd floor. The switches & the connectors of this room were old. There are no smartlocking system so you have to manually lock the door from inside. There is no locker in the cupboard. I couldn’t even charge the mobile phone & laptop as the sockets seemed to be worn out. There was Christina managing the front who is a kid & wasn’t helpful. They charged me for a day when I asked then to return my advance money paid for 5 days. I ZEN Hotels should conduct due diligence prior recommending such low grade hotels who are swindling foreigners. I expect Zen hotels to speak to Ermitage Hotel management & get my refund of payment made to this hotel as a penalty for using their hotel for 1 hour. I strongly advise foreigners to never book this hotel. The only advantage is the location of the hotel. That evening I checked in at Holiday Inn Tagansky. Front desk unhelpful.
