DOO Hotel Srbija in Belgrade

People are smoking in the dining area. Stay away from this hotel if you don't want to live a 1984 experience. Staf are very helpful and fast.

This would be the absolute worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune of staying at. To begin the reception was rude and unhelpful and the staff acerbic. Next the room was grubby and the bedding looked as though it had never been laundered. The sheets were clean but the pillow only 1 was provided was skinny flat and hard as concrete. I had to use the duvet as my pillow as a result. Then the shower. OH MY GOD the water ran brown and the shower leaked into the floor. I couldn’t shower for fear of becoming ill. The basin tap sprayed water everywhere except into the basin making the simple act of washing one’s hands a very wet affair. The water in the basin ran clear thank god. Next came the food on offer. The a la carte restaurant was ok and the staff there very good and friendly unlike the reception area but the slops offered in the buffet was inedible both T dinner and breakfast. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a clean friendly and pleasant place to stay. If I could I’d give this hotel a minus 10 score.

This is one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Nothing at all to recommend it at all (except the staff in the restaurant who were lovely). We were there only because Air Serbia put us there because we missed our connecting flight (which we were told by multiple Air Serbia staff would wait. Another story). The reception people were so rude it was staggering….on arrival and exit.
The hotel is manky, dirty and old. Water leaked from the bottom of the sink. The water was brown from the shower. The toilet kept running. The power point was half out and looked dangerous.
It’s in a terrible area. Stay anywhere but here.

The windows barely close so you get a constant haunting sound. The reception has only one guy working in peak times. No ramp so had to drag the stroller up stairs. I sincerely hope air serbia does not get you stuck in this hellhole.
One extra star for the guys from the restaurant, the only highlight.
