Industrial 1853 in Kraguyevats

One of the most unpleasant hotel stays we’ve ever had.

We requested no attic (podkrovlje) room three times, yet were still given one. The hotel also hides the fact that there’s an active industrial plant right next door, polluting the air — totally unsuitable for children or pregnant guests as myself.

The fireplace is non-functional, but this is never mentioned anywhere — pure false advertising. The “patio” listed on Booking doesn’t exist.

Half-board was another disappointment: no menu in advance, poor repetitive food, and no children’s meals included. We had to ask for it at each meal.

The staff is badly trained and disorganized — wrong menus, mixed-up tables, contradicting information, and no understanding of customer service. After cleaning, they left the floor soaking wet in the room without any “wet floor” sign — an obvious health hazard for children. Completely unacceptable and dangerous.

This hotel misrepresents itself online and fails to provide even the basics of hospitality or safety. We left feeling deceived, disrespected, and unsafe.

Avoid this place at all costs — especially if you’re pregnant or traveling with children.

Terrible service, full time amateurs. Everyone is totally lost. Hotel management is hiding, does not want to communicate things with guests and overall they are destroying the hotel with horrible service. It is beautiful place but their employees and managers are full time amateurs, causing nothing but frustration and anger.

From receptionist to the General Manager of the hotel, all the stuff is incredibly unprofessional and improperly trained. They don’t have an idea which are worldwide standards in a luxury hotels and how they should take care and welcome the guest. They made terrible mistakes and didn’t even try to apologize or resolve the situation. Worst experience ever. U can build the most beautiful hotel but the people who works inside makes the best or the worst experience for the guest who will never come back again.
