Grand Hotel & SPA in Kopaonik

I Do Not Recommend This Hotel. My stay at this hotel turned into one of the most distressing and unsafe experiences I’ve ever had while traveling.
During dinner, I found broken glass in my water, and I swallowed part of it before realizing what had happened. Although I immediately alerted the staff, the hotel took no meaningful action — no investigation, no proper apology, no compensation, no real support.

I spent the entire night unable to sleep, terrified about what could happen internally. If the glass had injured my esophagus or stomach, the consequences could have been extremely serious and costly.
This was not a relaxing stay — it was a night of fear and anxiety.

The next morning, I asked for compensation or the option to move my stay to another date. I was told the hotel could not offer anything.
After that, all my emails and calls were ignored.

For a hotel that claims to be five-star, this level of customer care is absolutely unacceptable. When a guest’s health is put at risk, the priority should be responsibility, empathy, and immediate action.
Here, I experienced none of that.

Additional issues during my stay:

• Dirty floor in the room, far below 5-star standards
• Expired, rock-hard candies in the minibar
• Overall lack of quality control and attention to detail

It feels like the hotel relies on its location and limited alternatives during peak season rather than delivering real five-star service.

I cannot recommend this hotel.
If such a safety incident happened to me and the hotel did nothing, imagine what could happen to other guests, including children or elderly visitors.
If something goes wrong, you are completely on your own — with no responsibility taken by the hotel.
