The Seaboards Apartments Seychelles in Baie Lazare Mahe

In February 2026 we used this accommodation again - it was our second holiday in the same place. We are again delighted and are convinced that this is the best choice in the southwest of Mahé. The entire team of this facility, led by the receptionist Mrs. Mayna, works hard to ensure that you are satisfied with your stay and really enjoy your holiday. The entire team of workers deserves our thanks for their willingness, kind and helpful attitude and perfect service. A huge thank you to all the staff for all this !!!

Now more about the accommodation:

The complex consists of a main building with six smaller apartments, a reception building with a small dining room and service facilities, and three separate larger bungalows. Everything is built in a traditional colonial style. During our last stay (in 2024) we were accommodated in one of the apartments in the main building, now we have booked a separate villa. This is a very spacious and airy accommodation - the huge main room is partially open to the terrace with an incredibly beautiful view of the Anse La Mouche bay, lined with lush tropical vegetation. In the main room (with an incredibly high ceiling - like in a hangar) there is a dining table with chairs, a sofa bed, TV, telephone, powerful ceiling fan with remote control. The room is openly connected to the kitchen, equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster and a sufficient amount of kitchen equipment for any cooking - like at home. The equipment is not new, but everything is in order, functional, well-maintained and completely sufficient. The villa also has two bedrooms for 2 people with comfortable beds and powerful air conditioning, each with its own bathroom (shower, sink, toilet, bidet). The water pressure in the shower is a little lower, but that's only a minor thing. Hot water is always available. No problem with electricity, there are plenty of sockets in the property (UK type). The accommodation is really spacious, it could comfortably accommodate 6 people! The accommodation is safe, equipped with sufficient fire extinguishers, guarded by security, there is also a small safe for valuables and documents. Cleaning on weekdays is done daily, it is of a high standard and also includes careful insect control. However, the presence of some insects must always be taken into account, because you are in the tropics, where this is completely normal. The elimination of insects is also taken care of by cute little geckos, which move in large numbers on the ceilings of the villa, because the accommodation is partially open (the main rooms have no windows, only wooden shutters with holes and a protective grille). However, geckos are completely harmless and it is very interesting to observe them. Did you know that they make strange sounds? It sounds like the quiet barking of a small dog. Until now, I thought that this was a mute animal. There is a small library at the reception where you can borrow something to read. You can request a laundry service. There is also free filtered drinking water, so you don't have to lug barrels from the store. There is plenty of free parking if you arrive by car. The accommodation is located a little away from the main development in the village, in a carefully maintained garden. Mango trees grow on the trees right in front of the accommodation, on whose fruits the local giant bats always fly to feast in the evening, which is a great opportunity to observe them. Access to the accommodation is now safer, a sidewalk and barriers were newly built on the coastal road this year, and there is also public lighting. The noise from the road above which the accommodation is located is a little audible, but it is not terrible. The lighting from the road at night is not disturbing. The place is suitable for a quiet family vacation, in the lap of beautiful tropical nature. There are no noisy attractions, which is very good. Excellent price-performance ratio.

Beautiful accommodation, location and host who took care of transportation from the ferry to the apartment and also rented us a car. 🙂

The beach is close, shops are close as well as restaurants.

I loved the place! Perfect location, rooms are vast, clean, and fully equipped. Service is amazing! The owner made us feel at home, with his amazing hospitality. He was available all the time through whatsapp to give recommendations - although upon reaching I sat with him and he helped me prepare the full plan based on what I like. We arrived early so they gave us breakfast and early check in without any extra charge. I wanted to have coffee at sunrise, so he prepared the night before the perfect basket for this - check pictures, with fruits, pastries and juices. I cannot thank him enough for making my vacation perfect!

Lovely place and the staff was super nice to us. ❤️ The garden was beutiful and they had my favoritt flower ( hibiscus🌺) The staff made This place magic. The combined breakfest was Amazing and the fruit was so good. Everything tasted fresh☀️ Will be returing If we come back to the Seychelles🥰

We love the place! Superb view from our room upstairs with big doors to the balcony. Spacious, perfect for two people. Very friendly staff. Watch out for the steep driveway up to the accommodation.

Great location on Mahe close to the beautiful southern beaches on the west coast and only 10min drive to Jardin du Roi botanical garden divided into different trails such as rain forest or plants and fruits. The appartmens are family owned, very clean and with great service. Thanks to the very nice manager we got a family dinner served in our room...when the restaurant was full. We had fish fillet creole style with white wine, the best fish dish on our trip, simply perfect.

We had a wonderful time at the Seaboards Apartments. We stayed there for 5 nights. Our host Bertrand was extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. He and his team gave us a great time. Breakfast in the idyllic garden with pool and dinner (optional daily) cooked by the chef and his team. Outstanding. The apartment itself was by far our best accommodation. Everything there and very spacious. 200 meters to La Mouche beach, which is ideal for small children.
