We just had an amazing stay at the Canopy.
The service is top and the workers will do more and beyond to exceed any expectations.
The hotel is very kid friendly with a playing room for the little ones and activities such as movie time.
The food at the restaurants is fantastic, specially at Tiger Bite but also a good Creole meal at Avocet will make your night.
Big thanks to Annie at the reception, to El at Tiger Bite and to Greg and Bram for making our stay magical.
We will definitely come back.

Our stay at the Canopy by Hilton on Mahé was simply exceptional and exceeded our expectations in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, we felt the special atmosphere of this hotel – warm, professional, and with a level of service that truly goes above and beyond.

The food at the hotel was outstanding. The quality of the dishes, the variety offered, and the care put into the presentation made every meal a wonderful experience. Equally impressive was the friendliness and attentiveness of the entire hotel staff. Every team member treats guests with genuine kindness and makes sure you feel completely comfortable throughout your stay.

However, we would especially like to recognize Irene at the Front Desk, who made an unforgettable difference during our stay. Due to a canceled flight, we suddenly found ourselves in a very difficult and stressful situation. Irene handled everything with remarkable professionalism, dedication, and kindness. She was always available for us, took the time to help with every detail, and truly did everything possible to assist us.

Thanks to her incredible support, what could have been a very stressful experience turned back into a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Irene made us feel that we were not just guests, but truly cared for. Her willingness to help, her organizational skills, and her calm, solution-oriented attitude are truly outstanding.

In our opinion, Irene represents the hotel in the best possible way. Her professionalism, commitment, and genuine care for guests are exceptional. We truly believe she deserves a leadership position within the hotel, as people with this level of dedication to hospitality are rare.

We just returned from a 7-day stay at Hilton Seychelles Resort and we already can't wait to return. This hotel over-delivers and it was such a pleasant experience to stay here. We were a large group with kids and the service was just excellent. Before we chose this hotel, we compared it to other resorts that offer all-inclusive stays and we are very happy that we made this choice.

The hotel is beautiful, stunning location, close to the airport, nice amenities and the food was just excellent. But what stood out most was the staff and the service delivery and their attention to detail. It didn't take long for them to get to know us and our preferences (not by us asking for anything but by them noticing and being proactive). We are so grateful. Special shoutout to Vishal from the restaurant for extra care and service, Bram (and the other manager who's name I now forget), the servers at the restaurant, Sega bar and actually just everyone, I even feel bad to single someone out because everyone was wonderful. The food was delicious and our special family holiday did not disappoint. We can't wait to return to the Seychelles (and 99% because of Canopy). Thank you.

We stayed there for a two-week vacation. The food was perfect.
The service was extremely friendly.
The rooms were clean and tidy every day, without a single complaint. The hotel is great for people who are satisfied with using only the pool.

A few things we didn’t like:
The beaches in front of the hotel, as well as for about a kilometer in both directions, can only be used for sunbathing, unfortunately accompanied by a very unpleasant smell, as channels with polluted water flow into the ocean from both sides.

The good thing is that several beautiful beaches are not too far away, such as:
Anse Soleil – 5 km
Petite Anse – 5 km
Anse Intendance – 12 km (one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful and wildest beach on the entire island).

The hotel does not offer any group activities, nor does it have a team responsible for them, such as volleyball, water sports, Pilates, or at least some kind of activity to make time pass faster. Because of this, I believe the hotel is more suitable for older guests who only want peace and quiet and who are often nervously impatient and quite arrogant toward the fast and always smiling staff. Unfortunately, most of the guests are like that.

All praise to the staff, who truly try to accommodate everything within their power, but solely because the hotel offers nothing for younger people, we would not return to this hotel.
To the Seychelles – absolutely! 🇸🇨

(Comparing romantischer high end brands in various vacation destinations) Excellent stay. Great 5 star hotel. Location superb without the crowds, facing directly the coast with beautiful beach. Hotel layout great with all rooms looking over the coast and pools. Great breakfast very good rooms, stellar quiet airco. Brilliant beds. Good breakfast huge variety of different cuisines. Possibly the longest pool in Seychelles and most importantly very professional, highly trained, kind staff and punctual service. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, a good new hotel that lives up to its star rating.

Pros: A great selection of dishes for breakfast (including fresh orange juice) and dinner (menu options – salad, main course with a side dish, dessert); a large pool with plenty of sun loungers; friendly staff (there's even a Russian-speaking receptionist).

Cons: The beach isn't very good (perhaps due to the wind patterns in January); it was dirty both on the beach and in the water, and there were no comfortable spots or umbrellas for shade; the spa is illogically expensive (200 euros for a single massage); there were few fresh fruits at breakfast, and the watermelon and mango were unripe.
