We had a wonderful stay in the hillside retreat. The owner is very caring and the rooms are cleaded every day. The bed was comfy and we really enjoyed our stay. Everything is quite close by and easy to reach.

friendly hostess, cleanliness, comfortable bed, spacious, all equipped. A very fine balcony to chill on. Drinking water is available for use, so no need to buy bottles from stores. The closest beach is 6min drive, through a hotel. Overall the south East of Mahe is best for beaches, nature. wi-fi is weak, internet speed is very slow, and even basic browsing barely works:(

We even liked the nearest beach - with the low tide it was perfect for our kids to play in, with the high tide for us to swim in. I recently stayed in this apartment and found it spacious but old. It’s clear that the last renovation was done a long time ago, and you can see it in almost everything. The place was relatively clean, though. The property has a private beach across the road, but it was quite weedy and very shallow, so not ideal for swimming. Great stop, unfortunately just one night for us, but the room was large and the balcony had comfortable chairs and a nice view of the ocean and the accomodation across the street. Henri was super helpful in accomodating our arrival a few minutes after 9pm.

The villa is conveniently located near a beach, restaurants, a shop, and a bus stop. The grounds are lovely, and the room is clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The staff are very responsive. Excellent value for money.

Villa Caballero went above and beyond throughout my stay. The accommodation is spacious, clean, comfortable and close to the beach, restaurants and shops. I had the option of using the outdoor pool with a barbeque area and large sitting area, too. I will highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Great accommodation, the owners were super helpful and friendly. Passan was super kind , he made us breakfasts fruit salads, pastries and cooked my Plantain that i bought. The accommodation has a pool around and is a good size for little ones . It has a shallow end , which makes it did friendly. Gates accommodation making it safe with children. I would def stop here again .

The Villa Caballero is a winner. The villas themselves are well equipped, clean and comfortable. The staff is top notch - in fact, I had a knee injury and needed ice and I think the staff went out and purchased gel packs as they seemed brand new and unused. Bravo!!! The property is two minute walk from Turtle Beach, two restaurants and a rather new craft brewery. Highly recommend!!!!

We spent just one night and it was such a pleasant experience. The owner greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived and made us feel comfortable right away. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and we felt truly looked after during our short stay. A great choice for anyone visiting Mahe, even if just for a night.

Stayed at this peace of little haven for one week and I can attest that this self-catering gem was nearly perfect! Went here for our honeymoon. It was an amazing experience! The place itself couldn’t be more idyllic. Jill was marvelous. Picked us up late at the airport and took us early to fly out. House is very nice. My husband fell and the stairs were a little difficult. Lots of dogs and rooster crowing early. Room was wonderful and very tastefully decorated. Jill was a pleasure!!
