Our stay at Surfers Self-Catering Chalets, was nothing short of exceptional. We spent a delightful four nights at this fantastic establishment, and it truly exceeded all expectations. We are repeat guests at Surfer’s chalets and this 2-week stay was a bliss again. The owners and the staff are all very helpful and caring. The bungalows are cleaned every day except for Sundays, with towels changed regularly incl. beach towels. You can enjoy lovely sunrise just from your terrace and well-kept garden around. The beach restaurant is another bonus to the stay - great service, delicious food for good price. We recommend hiring a car to be able to explore other parts and beaches of the Island. The beach at Surfer’s is lovely too, I went there early in the morning for a swim, then there is a low tide good for snorkeling and you can swim again in the afternoon. There are good waves for surfers sometimes. We highly recommend this spot and definitely will be returning.

A huge THANK YOU to Richard and his family. Thank you for your hospitality and helpfulness! Thanks to you, we had the best time of our lives in the Seychelles at The Surfers 100/100! The location is fantastic with the private beach. A little paradise for those who value quality and tranquility. With a rental car, you can easily reach everything you need. The restaurant on the beach is fantastic. The food is delicious – not to mention the incredible atmosphere 24/7! Sunrise and sunset right on your doorstep. We can hardly believe our luck that we stumbled upon this gem by chance! We will definitely be back – without a doubt! Looking forward to see you ASAP❤️

Really wonderful experience. Richard and his staff looked after every detail. Restaurant is across the street and on the beach. Food was terrific (especially the fish and chips).
Only minor issue was the mattress has probably seen better days, but not a big enough problem to avoid staying here.

This was our 3rd time to the Seychelles and 1st time to the Surfers Chalets. We stayed for 2 weeks and travelled to several "Anses" as we well as to La Digue. The chalets have all you need to enjoy a pleasant holiday, are big enough for a family of 3 and very tidy & clean. The team is very friendly and happy to help. We often enjoyed our meals in the Surfers Beach Restaurant which is right in front of the chalets, located on the beach, perfect for sun-downers (even if on the east coast) or a nice breakfast during low tide. We were very happy with our stay and are sure to be back! The area around Surfers Beach is fairly quiet, Anse Royale is not far but the South -East coast is a bit quieter than e.g. North-West, but that's a question of personal prefence!

It was not our first time staying at Surfers Beach Self Catering Chalets and it won't be the last - it is an excellent all-round experience. We would say that it is a far better experience and overall deal than staying in some of Mahe's so-called Luxury hotels - certainly from a spaciousness, cleanliness, comfort and value for money perspective. The chalets offer a spacious bathroom, living room and kitchen plus a very comfortable large bedroom. You can tell the chalets were developed with great attention to detail including the exterior which boasts a spacious deck for cocktails at sundown looking out over the ocean or just generally relaxing. This is all complemented by the beachfront Surfers Restaurant just a few steps away. My partner and I were visiting from the UK and were very pleased to find Surfer's charms remain fully intact since we last visited pre-Pandemic. Thank you Surfers for a brilliant stay - again!

Just got back from spending 7 nights at Surfers Self-Catering Chalets on the Island of Mahe - what a great experience! Clean, comfortable, spacious chalets comprising separate bedroom and bathroom and a spacious kitchen/diner/ living room with fully international TV - and all for a very reasonable daily rate. My partner and I have stayed at a number of places on Mahe and Surfers is without doubt the best including when judged against some 4 star hotels. Plus, you have the bonus of the adjacent Surfers Restaurant beachside - we will definitely be going back.

I write only after three months because I'd not add anything to previous reviews : the location, the size of the rooms, the cleanliness, the equipment, the kindness of all the staff are perfect.But today I read a review that left me dumbfounded and that doesn't describe the place where I stayed. I cannot believe it' s the same chalets. I hope it's a mistake, and confirm they are worth the maximum score for me, and I hope to return as soon as possible.

The place has a beautiful, well maintained garden, relaxing views across the see, many birds singing and chirping , amazing views of the sky full of stars from the terrace.
The chalets are very spacious for a family of 4 and very comfortable.
Richard, the owner is a top notch guy, friendly and helpful while being extremely discreet.
They have an amazing restaurant on the beach, but I will review it separately. Having our breakfast and dinners there was a blessing. The beach is perfect, our entire family had a wonderful time there. Such an amazing time we had there! Definitely one of the best places in Mahe, highly recommended!

Me and my husband visited the restaurant at least 7 times during our 14 days stay (it was closest to the villa that we stayed). The food is delicious! Try the Grilled prawns with garlic sauce. The staff is very polite (as almost everywhere on Mahe!).

Great view of the beach and the ocean from the restaurant deck. Service was friendly. We had a whole grilled fish and a vegetable curry, both perfectly cooked, well seasoned and delicious. Perfect place to come for a great meal on a warm evening.

Great view of the ocean and great kitchen. Try the fish curry. The fact that they accept cards and cash in rupees, euro and USD I also extremely convenient. The staff are friendly and professional.
