The reception team is absolutely fantastic, the rooms are beautiful, and I have a room on the 13th floor with a stunning view of Bratislava and Austria. I've been coming back for years. 5 stars for the team and the hotel.

When we got to the room, we noticed it was only set up for one person, despite it being a double. There was no hot water, and the sink was clogged. They quickly fixed it, but we felt it showed a lack of attention to detail. The shower hook was broken. For a four-star hotel, we weren't expecting this.

Nice location in the middle of the forest - good walking trails. Room was quite old and worn, but the bed was comfortable and everything worked. The hotel staff was friendly and the service fast. Breakfast was modest but nothing to complain about.

The hotel is completely integrated into the forest. The environment is great. The parking lot is large and free. The rooms are large, the facilities are new, clean and quiet. The breakfast is good. I stayed here for two nights and it was very memorable!

The hotel is in a nice quiet wooded area, very close to the city. Quiet and clean. Just be aware there are additional taxes they you will have to pay in addition to what you already paid online. Not much (3 euros per person) but it is just annoying that it is not charged during the reservation rather than as a surprise when your are checking in. The place is a good location especially for the train station it is quite area and n good place to relax the staff is nice and helpful one thing they dont have elevator for the people with heavy laguages but it is only 2 floors. The food selection for breakfast is okay..

The experience was great. The hotel staff were very friendly and always happy to assist. The location is very convenient, about a 12-minute walk from the train station. After exiting the station, you need to walk towards the small exit to the left rear, which can be a bit hard to find. Once you find it, just walk another 12 minutes to reach the hotel. Simple and basic room and amenities but clean and comfortable. Lobby and common areas are being upgraded and looks nice. Location is next to expressway so it's quite noisy.

I stayed in a twin room as a solo traveller. The room was spacious, clean and nice. I think it is worth more than the price. However, it was quite far from the station and it was quite a climb up the hill to get to the hotel.

Spa shouldn’t be listed as an amenity if it’s an extra 65€ fee.  This hotel was generally overpriced for the quality offered.  Room was a bit shabby.   Breakfast was not the best and could get quite overcrowded.   The lunch menu was reasonable for 10€.

Very good, good value for money

Hotel was okay, a little old but it was clean and safe; it needs some TLC. The gentlemen that greets you at the reception was very nice and professional. I read previous reveiws about this location and the reception gentleman must be the person the other reviewers wrote about stating how nice and professional he is. Worth the stay for a low cost.

The environmental price exceeded some of my expectations! The location is also good. The disadvantage is that you have to bring your own locker locks or buy them at the hostel.

Very old. It was clean, but a lot of bugs, and very dated. Breakfast was ok at least. Check in, check out was fast. Bratislava is small, so around $10 for Uber. Very limited English...Ok for overnight budget sleep, nothing more.

We stayed in this airbnb which was an embassy before.it was okay but the rooms were a bit smelly honestly. However,the location is great and the host is very nice.

The hotel is located in a convenient location in the city, nearby there is all the infrastructure that is required for a vacationer for a short or long term. Nice design style for all age groups. The owner is kind and responsive, he answers immediately and resolves any issue that arises. I really enjoyed staying here and sleeping comfortably. If necessary, I will gladly come to this hotel another time

Location beats everything else. It's in a quiet beautiful neighborhood with lots of stores and cafes nearby and really close to the castle, city center and railway station. Bed was really comfy, the room was clean, though you might have to remind your host to put toiletries in the bathroom.

It is a family-owned hotel and the owners are great. The communications with the owners is very informal, funny, and pleasant. The place is friendly, cozy, and calm. You will feel the sense of home. I don't know why, but it reminds me of a greater version of the "Fawlty Towers" series.

Hotel Matyšák was very good for me. The room was spacious and clean, but there was a shortage of sockets where they are needed. Spacious room. Near Bratislava Main Train Station. Old Town Square about 20 minutes walking. Very good breakfast. Front desk staff very helpful. Could be better if room have electric kettle for hot water for tea/coffee.

The room was huge and spotlessly clean. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Also appreciate the complimentary breakfast. The staff was friendly especially William who came to my rescue by lending me an adapter. Thank you. Strongly recommend this hotel😀

The hotel is nice and close to the train station but a little inconvenient to get there. The neighborhood is not that nice but does appear to be safe. Mass transit is easy to access from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was nice. They are accommodating if you want to leave your luggage after you check out.

Excellent apartment! Spotlessly clean, with all amenities. Individual quilts, iron, washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board. Everything you could need. Hair dryer as well as shampoo and shower gel two in one big package. Warm house at all hours with a constant temperature of 25 degrees. Close to the historic center and the market. Quiet area. Very good soundproofing. It really deserves its money

The actual apartment is perfect: spacious, clean & bright. It is however, located at least a 20 minute walk from the historic area in a neighbour that is quite run down.

Too expensive for what you get. It's probably worth more like €60 a night not more. The check in was annoying since they don't have staff at the building so you have to wait for an email with codes which only arrives after check-in time which means you can't leave your luggage at the reception (there isn't even a reception). Very good food. Both the chicken with pea purée and the risotto were very, very tasty. But the potato dumplings for dessert were amazing.

The food is excellent, and I was pleased with the standard, as it has been some time since my last visit to the restaurant. My only minor concern is that the grilled ribs are now served on a plate rather than the wooden board, which I found to be a delightful and enjoyable part of the experience. Otherwise, everything was wonderful, and the availability of free parking is a great convenience.

The location is great with 5 minutes to the main square. The room is too small, with one towel for face in a double room. There is no shower gel in the bathroom, only shampoo. No plugs near the bed. Short 2 night break Check in staff excellent room very nice spacious very comfortable but then 2nd night no AC 😡 room 26.5 degrees did not sleep a wink. When checking out no offer of refund or complimentary water which we had to use. Quite disappointing end and will email the hotel on return for some form of refund

Strategically located, very close to the many scenic points and tourist spots. Spacious unit, with the basic amenities like washing machine provided for convenience sake. The ambience gave a relaxation feeling, warm and cozy, feels like home. However it would be good that sandals and dental kits be provided, this is our suggestion. Overall a satisfying experience.

Very nice pace. The rooms and studios are renovated and are very comfortable and cozy. And very clean too. The studios are equipped with various stuff like fully equipped kitchen, laundry machine and all the detergents. The staff was very polite and cooperative.

Property dated but clean and comfortable. Could definitely do with a lift felt like I needed another holiday when I got to my room. The staff were great and helpful with transport local buses etc. But would definitely use them again.

Nice b&b with spacious rooms in old building God things: friendly service, ok location, charming house, quiet street. Could be better: heating. Our room was so hot because the heater was broken. They just said to open the window. Instead we got a different room. Tiny bathroom. And not the best cleaning.
