Cozy hotel, near Logar Valley. Room was very clean, big and confortable bed and in the morning we had one of the best breakfasts which we served in a hotel. 100% percent enjoyed and hope to come back one day!

Our room was on the second floor, and there’s no elevator, so we had to carry four bags and the kids up the stairs ourselves, which was quite inconvenient. Nice experience for a night . We stopped to this beautiful hotel with our children . The room was very clean and nice . The views are breathtaking! The breakfast was delicious and there was a nice lady asking us if we wanted anything different from the buffet. We will definitely go back to this hotel . The service was amazing even if we arrived like really late at night .

The hotel is lovely, family owned and the service is good. The rooms are cosy and clean, but the building doesn’t have an elevator or individually set air condition. We also tried the restaurant but the food was classical local dishes with a nicer presentation and far from what we expected. Very basic ingredients with no “twist”, in a 6 course meal the ingredients are repeated.

We were a little disappointed that the restaurant was closed on the first of our 2 night stay. However the meal we had on the second night was superb and we opted for the wine selections for each course offered by the hotel which also worked really well. Breakfast too was excellent with great selection and some beautiful fresh fruit. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would love to stay again

Comfortable hotel with wonderful and helpful staff, however it is the food and wine experience that will make us remember hotel Planinka! There’s an impressive cellar of Slovenian wines (some others too) and our host knew exactly which wines to pair with our choice of dishes. 10 out of 10! Breakfast is nice too.

Paul and his sweet family runs the place, very warm place with warm food served. Rooms are clean, beer and dinner are good too.. they are 1 hour away from logar valley and valenica planina .. definitely loved the place and the people

We have a great time here in Ljubno. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast also good,and plenty. I truly recommend this hotel to visit. If you will go there try the dumplings. Really good stuff.

The staff here were so friendly and accommodating. The after hour check-in was smooth and easy. They really go out of their way to make the breakfast special. Made to order crepes and eggs. They even accommodated our picky American need for ice and coffee to go. I would highly recommend!

The hotel was clean, but the rooms lacked ventilation windows; the glass windows were stuffy. It's about 5 kilometers from the old town, so you need to drive. There's a shopping mall behind the hotel with free parking. The mornings were also fantastic.

Big cozy room, elegantly designed. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom convenient and roomy, and the service was pleasant. It is not located in the city center, but there is a bus right at the hotel, which reaches the center and is very frequent. It's consistent - the rooms can get noisy because of the road, or stuffy when they turn the heat on. Breakfast is average. But, giving it 4 stars because they are consistent, internet is good, the hotel is clean, and the staff is polite.

Very familiar B&B. Although it is not located in the city centre it becomes really easy to reach it and taxi is not expensive at all. There is free parking, which is especially useful if you reach the place by car. The staff was really helpful and friendly, and the rooms modern, big enough and convenient. It is difficult to find such a good option at this price so close to Ljubljana

Excellent food and service in a homely space. Ordered the beef with pepper sauce medium. It was a touch over, but the sauce was spot on. Prices were reasonable for the execution, although the tenderloin did have a bit of gristle.

We were a party of 6 that they fit in w/o a reservation for an early dinner. Our waitress was awesome. Super knowledgeable about the Slovenian wines and made recommendations for shared appetizers as well as accommodated substitutions (gnocchi for potatoes etc) Standouts: grilled veg and cheese appetizer, octopus salad, duck confit and steaks. Don’t miss the strudel and girbanci for dessert.

It is a high end Slovenian restaurant in the old town. The prices are quite high. I had Tagliata that is sliced beef and it was superb. Also I had Merlot barrique and it was amazing. The only thing is that people are trying to sell you the most expensive things on the menu. I have money it is not a problem but may be I like something else. Anyway, the meet and wine is good.

I would recommend calling to reserve, my email went unanswered. We had to wait 15 min at the door. The hostess was a bit rude with the guests but the server was very nice and the food came quickly and was delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and was nice to try Slovenian cuisine.

Pity that when rates ate only given in whole stars, as I would have given it 4,5, The food was quite good. But what was most exiting about this place is the atmosphere and decoration. There was a queue but we got an approximate time for our table. We could go to a short walk to explore this nice city and when we got back we could get our table straight away.

This Hotel is a bit quirky with a lot of different with a lot of Quirly things scattered around like motivational quotes in different places throughout the hotel I have just seen other reviews with bad rooms but out rooms were great and we had no issues. Limited choices for breakfast and no kettle or coffee served at the room, the room is exactly facing the hospital office, which make it somewhat embarrassing if you open the curtain, and the curtain is too short to cover the whole window and light leakage could disturb light sleepers

This place blew me away. Spacious room and bathroom and it was the cheapest room in the building. Super comfy bed. A quick walk to the old town. The Finnish sauna, spa and pool is great for relaxing. It is a very high standard hotel. The best. You would have to be hard to please to give this place a bad review.

Great location. The shared room was alright, but it's nice they provide a lock and key for the locker. I didn't spend much time inside, just sleeping and the bed squeaks a little. Toilet was decent. Although I think everything is fair for the price, I'm giving 3 stars because I arrived around 8pm and there was no one to check me in, and I had to try calling 2 different numbers to get someone.
