Beautiful coffee with milk.
Romantic hotel in romantic town. Friendly reception. Good ratio price-quality. No parking lot for motorcycles.
We stayed 1 night with my husband in the hotel. Generally we were satisfied, receptionists were helpful and informative, the building is beautiful and has good atmosphere, like jazz music everywhere, chill inside courtyard with flowers and nice plants, nicely decorated lobby and corridors. Wine cellar is stunning with great selection of Slovenian wines. Breakfast was tasty. The room was spacious and looked good. However, I need to mention the quality of the bed mattress. They looked and felt too old and overused so was not comfortable, we barely could sleep. And there were mold stains inside the shower cabin on the wall. (We made pics of all so pls do not deny it -I send or attach them if needed - but I mention it only to help you to improve.)

Very clean hotel and rooms, staff is kind and attentive. Loved the breakfast which is served upon a request from the menu with their in-house coffee. Their spa and spa offer is also amazing and worth the extra pay. Let's not forget that this place is one with rich history with their coffee shop running since late 18th century! Makes you feel very posh in spite of reasonable pricing. Definitely going back to Hotel Mitra while in Ptuj! The world needs more hotels like this one that encapsulates the point of boutique hotels in the best way :)
Had my wonderful stay at a "rooster room" which was stylish, comfortable, and surprisingly very quiet, too. Breakfast was tasty (loved the fish paté), the spa is great and the wine cellar is magnificent. The ancient mitra artifacts in the lobby are also a nice touch.
Pre-carneval spirit in this place. Very lovely hotel with some Ptuj's ancient taste. Great hospitality.
