Manager of receptionist calls Leah , she behavior to me very badly without helping or serolving the problem. She told me to have better WiFi you must seat in different spot in the room while is my internet not working at all Then to change a room coast 50 euros why? because I pay normal prize and I do not have WiFi . I guess you must treat the customers better is actually your job to do . If you can’t stand Fire Leah then don’t work in the kitchen Thank you

If you want a relaxing holiday, book a different hotel. Old, unfriendly, cold food, eat the same thing three times. Not worth 4 stars. The hotel was 1.5-2*, OK but nothing more! Ants in the room, booked a luxury room but didn't get a luxury room. There are differences between luxury and luxury, simply a no-go! The hotel posts fake photos on various platforms to lure holidaymakers. Simply pathetic and every complaint is dismissed with a "yeah, yeah." The only positive thing is the Olimia thermal baths, 15 minutes away. It costs a bit, but everything is great there!

Buffet: Some of the food was cold or old. Some dishes were offered three times in the buffet. Few vegetarian dishes and vegetables. The vegetables were always overcooked. Rooms: Always be careful not to get a worse category than the one you booked and not to be charged extra for things that should have been included. There were thousands of ants in the room. The cleaning service was shoddy. Wellness area: No cushions on the plastic loungers. Access to the sauna and outdoor pool was extra. Staff were not very polite (with a few exceptions). Service was not very good. Sometimes you had to wait 20 minutes for drinks to be ordered at dinner.

Just returned from a 7 day detox at Grand Hotel Sava - what an experience! We had a Grand room with a balcony overlooking the park - so peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The view was beautiful and really helped to relax. The detox program was well organised. It started with a medical consultation and body analysis - it was interesting. The spa treatments were fantastic - especially loved the detox massage and mineral baths. The ROI spa area is very nice, with a Finnish and Turkish sauna. The biggest surprise was how much the magnesium water helped. We had to drink it 3 times a day plus the detox drinks and honestly by day 3 we felt so much more energetic. The mineral baths were also very relaxing. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Even the detox food was good - we were afraid it would be boring but the chefs did a great job, preparing healthy meals that were really tasty. The facilities like the thermal pool and fitness centre were great. Loved the morning yoga and aqua aerobics. Overall, it was just what we needed. Came home feeling refreshed and much healthier. Already thinking about booking again next year!

I am writing this review on behalf of my parents. They are currently on holiday at this hotel. An unpleasant incident occurred a couple of days ago. The shower door in the bathroom did not close and was poorly secured. When using the shower stall, the door fell and shards injured my father. It is good that the shards did not hit major arteries, otherwise a fatal accident could have occurred. Why does the hotel administration not monitor the condition of items that are in a broken condition?

My friends and I came to this hotel to relax and drink the water that is in this area (room 463). We were supposed to stay in this hotel from 12/29/2024 to 01/10/2025. But starting from January 01, we fell ill with rotavirus that was walking around this hotel, and were ill for 4 days, with a high temperature and diarrhea. When we checked into the hotel, no one warned us that there was an epidemic inside, and we heard a couple from Italy complaining at the reception because they also fell ill. As soon as the symptoms passed a little, we bought other plane tickets and today, January 7, we left for home. Staying in this hotel any longer was dangerous for our health, and all three couples left this hotel. Regarding the room, it definitely has nothing to do with the name Lux. The food in the restaurant is very bad, and we often ate at other hotels. CONCLUSION: WE WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN AND WE DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS, AS THERE IS A VERY GREAT RISK TO YOUR HEALTH IN THIS HOTEL.

I visit this hotel at least twice a year. It's in need of renovation and doesn't live up to its advertised standard. Poor internet, constant router issues.

Exelent! Great friendly staff and great food. We stayed in the Lux double grand room. The room was clean. The swimming pool is only for hotel guests and is not crowded. The ROI SPA is a dream. It was realy a nice weekend. I absoluty recomend to visit Grand Hotel Sava.

Rooms in the superior part of the hotel are quite small, especially the bathroom with a tiny shower booth. These are not really 4* rooms by today’s standards. This not a major downside as one only spends the night in a hotel room and beds are very comfortable.
The hotel itself is very cosy, perfectly located and has all the amenities one could desire.
Food is tasty.
My wife and I reaaly enjoyed our weekend break in Rogaška Slatina.

It's a very good value for money, but since we've been coming for years now there always seem to be a few things slipping from the maintenance list (for example thermometer and timers in saunas that have been broken/missing for a year...)
They also seem a bit understaffed.

Overall hotel was nice, if little outdated. We had breakfast and dinner both of which were good and staff was quite friendly and helpful. We were glad about free parking in enclosed parking lot.
As a minus the saunas were only opened between 4-7 pm and the aircon in the room was not working so the rooms were quite hot. I could not quite imagine being there during summer.

Rooms are outdated and the beds are just awful. The matress is rock hard and the beds are creaky. We booked a room with two beds and that is exactly what we got: two beds, pushed together, so there was a gap in between them. I didn't get any sleep.

Another problem with the rooms is the hallway doors don't fit the doorframe, so light from the hallway was shining into the room the entire night. You could also hear every sound from the hallway. Never encountered something like this in any other hotel I was in.

Saunas: we booked this hotel because it had a lot of different saunas. When we got there we realised saunas are open only from 4pm and two of them didn't work.

Location: beautiful surroundings, with the square in front having some lovely old buildings around it and a nice coffee place on the other side. There are beautiful hiking trails around as well. Scenery is peaceful and relaxing.

Final thoughts: will definitely come back to Rogaška Slatina, but not this hotel.

Excellent staff, excellent breakfast, very good dinner choices. Rooms are clean, hotel is in solid state. Hotel is directly connected with medical center, mineral rich water hall, shops and spa center. Pool and saunas are excellent. Around the hotel you can also find nice parks and playgrounds for children. Surrounding area was quiet and perfect for resting. Free parking inside hotel grounds was available. Value for money is very good.

The location of the hotel is great, in the beatiful nature. Free parking in the front of the hotel. A lot of possibility for walking and hiking ( unfortunatelly no snow ). The surrounding is very nice and clean. The stuff is very kind.
The room is simply equipped, no iron, no cattle for tea but it was very clean. For the couple two separate beds instead of one. The matresses and pillows not very comfortable.

The worst part was the new year dinner. The price was 80 euro per person and in that price no beverages at all. Even no water. The band who was playing was awfull performed for 15 minutes and took the break for 10 minutes. No game, no lottery. And it was the pattern for the whole night. They even missed to count down the new year.
The variety of the food was on the high level but the preparation of the food was pretty bad, specially for meat. One didn't know which kind of meat was on the table. All had similar unpleasant taste.
The cakes were great. The breakfast was also great.
The swimming pool was very good, clean warm water 29°degrees in the jacuzzi 34° but the swimming pool is pretty small for such a big hotel.
In conclusion: our stay was fine but I would not recommend the hotel for the new year celebration.
