Hotel Spik in Kranjska Gora

The hotel is in a quiet location, but not far from the main road. The 3-star rooms are up to the standard you would expect. There are two negative points related to this. The first is that the hand soap in the bathroom was not refilled once during the five days we spent at the hotel. The other is that no matter how we locked the door, either from the inside or the outside, it opened immediately with a slight push or pull. On the positive side, the restaurant's menu and the wellness facilities are excellent.One negative comment about the spa is that there is a sign on the wall saying that ball games are not allowed, but despite this, I was hit on the head several times in the jacuzzi. There is a spa attendant, but he doesn't really care. The price is very reasonable and the ski slopes in the area are easily accessible. Kranjska Gora is 10 minutes away, Tarvisio 30. Overall, I would gladly recommend this hotel.

For the price you pay, you get more than enough value on quality of rooms, food, and spa. The saunas are great and I’ve had the best massage I’ve had in a long time. Staff is lovely and professional.

It was a great stay overall. The hotel is a bit dated, breakfast is not impressive, but our room was clean, the view was fantastic and the pool was great, large and warm, we really enjoyed it. The location is perfect too, and the view from our room!

Lovely place to stay. Convenient for surrounding areas. Stunning scenery. My only qualm, if any, would be there isn't drink making facilities in the room. But I know for next time and will take my own.

Plenty of free parking, polite staff, cleen room, very tasty food, lots of different opportunitues for šport, hiking and moutaineering

(+) Beautiful location in the mountains, elevator (lift), delicious food and great variety, wonderful view on some sides of the building, big rooms, modern bathrooms, calm location, we also had a couch in our 3-star room, small shop close to the hotel, swimming pool, you can choose from 3-star and 4-star rooms and the hotel also has a camping, there is a brook next to the hotel

(-) The cleaning of our room wasn’t too profound, the furniture tends to be little bit worn-out, the beds are very soft and you only get a big pillow (no small one), no fridge in the rooms, the hotel is in a small village so it’s good to have your own car / bike if you want to go out, sometimes it would be nice to have a second elevator, occasionally the service wasn’t professional

--> We stayed 4 nights in this hotel in a 3-star room. I would recommend this place because I liked being here! The 3-star rooms don’t have air conditioners, but it’s alright because the weather usually isn’t too hot (even in July). They say that the 3-star rooms are smaller but in my experience our room was big enough for two people. However if you choose a 4-star room I think there is a higher chance that you get a room that has a view on the mountains.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. The staff is infinitely kind. reakfast and dinner are plentiful, delicious, varied.

It has the best wellness centre in this region with great saunas. They offer a swimming pool, a warm chilling pool and a jaccuzzi.
